How is this unintentional? I've hugged countless women and managed not to cop a feel. In fact I can wager most normal platonic hugs steer as far away from the breasts as possible for this very reason.

Yeah, I've hugged women or women hugged me, always with consent however, I've always asked if I could hug someone and vice versa, people who wanted to hug me asked me if it were ok, I've never had my hands near any women breasts during my hugs, my arms are usually wrapped around the woman's waist and I look to make sure I am wrapping my arms around the woman's waist and my hands are on the woman's back.

This is just disgusting and this was very intentional to me and not an accident or a mistake like others are trying to claim.

Yeah the preacher is definitely rapist scum. Lets go with that.

The positioning is weird. With that kind of embrace, you never really go for the torso by the waist. Yeah, she's a smaller woman, but the guy is not blind.

Moreover, the issue is the squeeze too. Just seems too aggressive to be a mistake.

If the height difference is that much, you go for the shoulder.

Thanks for the Hyperbole.

What I can say as a male, is that he, at a minimum, gropped a women and put himself into a position where he owes the victim, and society a better explanation than it was an "accident".

This isn't an accident. Let me repeat.

If he can't control himself in that venue, imagine what has likely done on outside of the public's eye.
Thats the other obvious point, I didn't make.

Also just imagine how common "little things" like this must be for women.

If someone "accidentally" touched my dick the same way he touched her breasts there sure as hell would be consequences.

If someone's wrapping their arm around your hip at all (no matter if they get close to your dick or not lol), y'all better be dancing.

User Banned (Permanent): Condoning sexual assault
This is not an accident, I agree, it's plain manly old-school flirting.

This could be excusable here in Europe in a cozy atmosphere, in a pub, between friends of friends, and semi-drunk

For sure it's not a good idea to do this in public, at a funeral, while broadcasting, between two people with this gap in age, in the US

The shit women have to deal with is staggering

like this...

Absolutely nothing to do with their heights at all.

He could reach, put your hand around the slimmest part of the waist, NOT ride up till you feel something 'soft'.

We know what you're doing when you're doing that.

Sweet jesus, just clergy and nuns get married if they want. I bet we'd hear less of these stories if they could actually be [intimate] with people and not have it against silly rules.

This could not be excusable in Europe, what the fuck. This is not flirting. It's sexual harassment and assault. What the fuck.

It's very simple: don't touch people. At all. There is no need for it, aside from the formal handshake.

Casual hugging is a LIE.

I wouldn't hug my one family if I could get away with it but when I moved to another country in middle school I got legitimately taken aside by a female friend and told everyone was kind of confused why I didn't like to hug and that I needed to do better. It's very much a cultural thing

People like this guy are REALLY strange to me. Like, You know its televised right? How would you think people would not catch this?!

Also... Its really easy to hug or side hug a person without groping them. I think this guy thought he was being slick.

I mean fuck. We gotta do better as men. If it was my daughter I would be pissed.

You should examine whether this kind of anger is predicated on objectification itself. Whether it's the mistreatment of a person that gets you, or not honoring the game through which men grant and receive prized women. I don't mean to impute the latter to you, I just get suspicious when men arrive at something resembling empathy by hypothesizing affiliation.

We had a casual get-together with colleagues a couple of weeks ago and I gave them a quick hug as they arrived. I don't like it, but I thought it was expected. Now I'm not so sure anymore and I feel bad about it.

True. I was a bit broad with my judgement.
I think it applies to where i live though for a large part.

It's often the religious types isn't it? Like they have a tendency towards this
Also, at least it's not a white dude. See? Black folks can be terrible humans too

There is no culture where going HONK HONK on a woman's chest is ok.

Sadly, that's not how church works. He'll just say "the devil made me do it," everyone will believe him, and will be welcomed back with open arms after he says a couple Hail Marys. Because no "man of God" would ever sin.
I mean, doing penance is a literal acknowledgment of sin and the whole idea is that everyone sins. So men of God are of course sinners like everyone else. Hell, parts of the gospels revolve around the disciples sinning.

Like, I dropped religion over a decade ago but this stuff still gets on my nerves Hot take literally absent of realization you clearly also don't know what you're talking about. There's a lot to be said legitimately, ignorant extra is just that. Bad faith edgy ignorant bullshit when there are tons of good faith obvious shit to take aim at

weird. glad it worked out. I'd personally call that a red flag to be groped like that, but you've neglected us details.

I took some risks, the chemistry between us was clear and transparent, I grabbed her and kissed her.
Her answer could be a punch in my face or a smile.
She smiled. We are happy, thanks.

You guys had chemistry, and you read the room and went for it. I kissed my boyfriend on our first date too after barely any lead up because, again, we knew we had something good. There was still "risk" involved, but we got along and signs seemed clear.

These two were at a funeral, in a public place, he's a stranger, she's leaning away from him, he's holding her close, she's looking around constantly, and he's poking up above her waist. He stops. Then he goes for it again.

Spot the differences in these situations. Your date =/= this event at ALL.
You coming in here bragging about how you met your girl under "similar circumstances" is straight up bait to play...devil's advocate or...show-off or I dunno.
