For both Cash Money and YMCMB, all Birdman needed to do was pay them.
He gave them unconditional support, gave them creative control, for the most part signed competent acts (although yeah, too many when you're signing Bow Wow and Euro) and had ears for talent.. he just used all their money on his Veyron and Miami complex.
Somehow, I think Tyga leaving was what broke the camel's back on a lot of things. And I know it's easy to poke fun at Tyga, but dude has been prospering since. You really just can't kill him, and at least now he's getting paid.
Well, yeah, queen was a great album and still has some of my favourite songs on there, but isn't it like 40 years too late to be throwing a fit over it not hitting #1?

She's not but go off. People are too stupid to understand why she was mad about what the album debuted at. She wasn't mad that it went number 2, she was mad at HOW it went number 2, not that it did. Her last album didn't debut at number 1 right away so obviously she's fine with it. It's that travis sold sweaters with an album that you didn't have to redeem and Billboard was fine with that. But Nicki's tour and merch bundles had to be redeemed, which obviously drastically lowers the conversion rate.

All that is outrageous, delusional, and goes beyond just the merch issue, which, if true, I agree Nicki got unfairly fucked on, but is kind of besides the point when she's gone nuclear and made up a million other reasons why she thinks she thinks she was robbed of #1.

I can tell you just read media headlines and just run with it because nothing in that first paragraph is true. She's allowed to respond back to journalists that have spread LIES about her and her work. Celebrities are human too, not everyone is just going to sit back and let you talk about them. If you really believe the Stormi stuff was serious you need mental help, and Irving Azoff is definitely travis scott's manager and on the board of ticketmaster, and a HUGE executive who worked for Ticketmaster and Livenation. Anyway, I want to thank the haters in this for tuning in to nicki's show just to talk about her, its the most streamed show in Apple Music history! Also shout out to the Queen album for going gold. I'm leaving this thread because it too much negative hating energy. Nicki is enjoying herself and having fun, so you guys should too.
It doesn't matter though because they still got the album. Does she KNOW how many people didn't actually get the album? Are their numbers or stats to back up that the majority of people that bought his merch didn't bother to get the actual album because that's a bit stupid to me that you would buy merch for an artist and not get the free album that comes with it. I'm sure some people did but I doubt it was the vast majority that didn't actually redeem it. She also added Fefe after the album came out to try to boost her numbers too from the streams of that so let's not act like she wasn't playing games too.
We aren't the ones that made her literally attack a 6 month old child because her album came in 2nd place. We aren't the ones that made her ticket sales flop for her tour. Dude you're clearly lost in the sauce. Her first statement about Stomi and Kylie was on Twitter we didn't have to read the media we could see the meltdown in real time. It wasn't a joke because it wasn't funny. She had a total meltdown in front of our eyes. It's not negative energy to call her out for being completely unhinged over nothing. Her tour was flopping since Day 1 because I doubt there is very much overlap between people that love Nicki AND people that love Future. This era has been a sloppy mess with flop singles and a flop tour. She should have just taken her L regrouped and come back. You didn't see Katy Perry go off the rails when Witness completely flopped or Gaga go crazy when Artpop flopped. It has nothing to do with Nicki being black it has everything to do with her have a nasty attitude and going off the deep end in real time. Then she compared herself to Harriet Tubman like that's something to joke about. She flopped and she should just own it and keep it moving.

LMAO I meant have complete meltdowns on social media and on the radio. I wouldn't consider either of these things "crazy", not like Nicki that's for damn sure. The Tony Bennett/Gaga album was actually good too. I actually enjoy her stripped down music much more. She has a bunch of great songs coming out on the Star is Born soundtrack that are more stripped down.
Katy live streaming for a weekend wasn't Nicki twitter meltdown levels but it was close.
I just thought it was weird, I didn't think she was losing it. I thought Nicki was like high on something. I was hoping Nicki would calm it down the sad thing is her antics have overshadowed her music. Queen had some bangers on it, but nobody's talking about them.
