Exactly, this is textbook FUD from the console warriors.
Unfortunately, when most of the attention goes to the graphical aspect people will complain for nothing.
People dont care obviously this has been explain as well many times.Its the UC3 bs all over again.

It is not.
Things changed, but there are PLENTY of shots and footage from other areas that very clearly illustrate that there was no downgrade.
I also played it at E3 three times, as did thousands of other people. This isn't detective work, it's concern trolling.

That's clearly a downgrade, and I hate bullshots at E3, but regardless this level of outrage is ridiculous considering what is being shown here. Games have to go through performance optimisations- better to have a slight downgrade than a game that doesn't play well.
You must not understand the objection to this outrage.
You can be happier with how the scene previously looked. That's fine.
But you can be wrong about the reasons it looks different.
The claim when you invoke "downgrade" is that a reduction in graphical capabilities of the game by means of for example substituting lower resolution textures, reduction of lighting quality, shadow quality or overall resolution.
What isn't a "downgrade" is an artist tweaking the area in her responsibility or moving puddles around so one scene has less and another has more without any involvement by the technical team.
Using "downgrade" is an evidence claim. And if you've (or DF) have done the necessary work to show that there was an objective reduction in a quantifiable capability this will be fine and then it's good that Insomniac will be called out on principle alone.
Whether or not the scene is so compromised as to have mislead customers is another debate but also good to have.
What isn't a quantifiable argument is something along the lines of I can see less shinies now therefor its downgraded.
You're really accusing a developer of lying? Come on...

I'm sure devs know more about the situation, so I'll take their word for it.

It's just that particular scene. The most recent gameplay videos show the rooftop of a construction site with more puddles than the older screenshot.
i'm blown away this by all accounts awesome exclusive game is potentially "ruined" to these people by a perceived graphical downgrade. i'd play this game locked to 720p/30fps/low detail if it meant it got a pc port.
The current photo that is supposedly 'downgraded' looks washed out. It's seems like poor photographic evidence given how many other shots and footage of the game look much more vibrant.
I just love the gaming community so much. It looks a little different but who gives a shit? It's not as if the game now looks like garbage. Besides the guy said that the code hasn't changed, so there ya go!

So, not regarding the puddles. But more so lighting/shadows/textures. Could it be the difference between PS4 Pro and PS4 Regular?
Even if it was downgraded, how is it a problem? You get to see the game right before it releases.

There is no downgrade. People who have no clue about ToD and art style tweaks need to stop posting. One of the reasons I can think of for reducing puddles is that they made the environment way too busy and made combat more confusing unintentionally.
