I'm sure. I got GOWIII already and never bought it.

Searching around I think that it was a part of a deal when you buy a full year of PS Plus.

I'm not talking about PS3. I'm referring to the remastered which is on PS4. Asian region got that already last year and we're getting it again next month.

For those games, no. It hasn't. Asian region often get games in advance for Ps plus compared to NA/UK.
One can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they're trying to unify all the PS Plus games and regions (so US and EU and Asia (mostly) get the same). Before, each region got its own games, but I can imagine that unifying them can result in repeating games.
Whatever the case is, they might give out a replacement game like they did a couple of years ago when a game repeated in EU (unlike US).
For what it's worth, when a game isn't available in a region when Games With Gold games are selected on Xbox, that region gets a different game, more often than not a game that was already given out, sometimes more than once. I'd figure something might be behind a potential repeat on PS as well - probably not now, but maybe when GOW3 initially appeared it took the place of something they couldn't give away with PS+ in Asia?

Well, the second one was the GOTY with all the DLC and whole new location... it was totally worth replaying it!

if you use the same region for all your plus games, they don't repeat. pretty sure about that.

are you talking about the asian ps+ getting games again? i thought you meant that we were getting games that had already been on asian PS+ in EU/US regions
Been a Plus member since Day 1 back in 2010 and I can vouch that they never have repeated a game here.
Stop trying to gaslight the OP. There's literally proof posted in this thread showing that they are repeating a game.

Reading the article, it looks like that was actually a bonus PS+ game and not actually part of the official lineup. I don't know I need the full context.
Other than that I don't think they've actually repeated a game before so this looks like it's more of an oops than anything.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the first time it happened with PS plus Asia :/ I already got it months ago (TH region).
also surprised that they offered gow 3 again this month. already got it also from last year's ps plus. gotta make up for destiny 2 somehow.

This has happened in Japan last year, but in that case it was a bonus called Free Play Encore for their 7th anniversary of service. Basically they repeated 3 games: KZ:SF, Gravity Rush Remastered and Child of Light, but all of them were just added to the main list for that month.

Back in January 2017, God of War 3 Remastered was given as "PlayStation Plus bonus" due to the special event, we could get this title in just 12 days. It was not monthly PS PLUS Free games.
I think GOW was added as a bonus for that month(It was not announced in the official blog at first place). Similar happened to gravity rush remastered and tales of zestiria. So I guess it is the only way to explain , but yeah still rather baffling.

That doesn't make it accurate though. The only thing it shows is that it was an extra game in the asia regions for a time but in NA, it has never been offered which is the point.
