Huh, didn't realise it was only legendaries and shinies that were expensive trades, thought it included everything missing from your dex.

Whatever good Chikorita you have you should save for Community Day in September so it can learn a special move when it becomes Meganium
Movesets on unevolved Pokemon don't matter. It'll all get switched up on evolution anyway.
Yes it does - ideally tie that into some egg hatching and your 7 day streak first catch for even more dust

I've got Mew's 7/8 page all done but haven't claimed any rewards. I'm going to get Celebi's to the same point, then wait until my research breakthrough for Entei (which I've got lined up on the same day as my 7 day catch and spin streaks). Since that Stardust multiplier event is about to happen, I'm going to have everything ready to go at the same time.
Then I drop a Lucky Egg and a Star Piece...
7 Day Streak for Spin, 7 Day Streak for Catch, Research Breakthrough, Entei, Mew pages 7/8 and 8/8, Celebi pages 7/8 and 8/8, Mew catch, Celebi catch, and then evolve some Pokemon I've got lying around too.
I'll try to work in hatching if I can, but that will probably be more limited. Just got to make sure I get 40 grass or psychic types before then. It should be doable, but I'm still on the spin stops 7 days in a row and have a couple more days to go on that one. It might come down to the wire a bit.

Wait WTF, I got a shiny Wingull. I think this is the first ever shiny pokemon I ever got lol (well that I caught that is). Too bad it is 39 CP through, but seems like it has good stats.

So are the chances to get a shiny Wingull high during this event or something? Cause I ended up getting another one, like wow. Either that or I wish some of this luck went to another pokemon lol.
Wingull should spawn more often and have a higher shiny rate through Sunday evening local time, like Roselia, Plusle, and Minun were on their boost weekends.
Yup, shiny odds are significantly boosted for it. Like the Plusle/Minun and Roselia weekends before. Sadly overall spawn rates don't seem to be boosted nearly as high as those were.
Hopefully will get enough or be very close to getting a shiny Pelipper before the event ends.
Europe/Middle East/Africa region hasn't met the 5 million research quest goal yet. It's probably fine, but get out there today!
Is there something special/important about this one? I got one the other night.
EDIT: Oh, it's a shiny. I only got a normal one.

I've only gotten 6 shiny Wingull so far. This seems a bit more rare than Roselia and Plusle/Minun.
