Realistically I would like to see tales of Vesperia release date.

My dream would be something like persona 5 PC.

I wish Square Enix would show Shadownbringer: Final Fantasy XIV, but they probably won't show it until the first fanfest in November.

I'm excited for whatever the hell Nagoshi-san is debuting.

Also perfect time to play another round of "Where in the World is 13 Sentinels". Lol.

Dream would be Atlus showing Re:Fantasy gameplay, but I don't think that's happening.

I'm hoping to hear something from Shin Megami Tensei V. We're approaching a year since the trailer revealing it's name to be SMTV and haven't really heard much of anything other than it's a long way off. Hoping we see at least another trailer.

And maybe a reveal of Kaneko doing the artwork this time.

I hope that Capcom reveals a new Ace Attorney game (this time localized in English), it's time for a new adventure and maybe new lawyers after AA6.
This. I want to see how the series evolves after AA6 and especially with a first entry on Switch (although the cynic in me thinks it will be on 3DS still). I also want to see FFXV DLC information, more from DMCV and RE2, also Left Alive and KH3.

Someone burning that eternal flower field Kaneko is stuck in, so he can come back as character/demon designer for SMTV

I always have unfoundedly high expectations for TGS, but I feel this year I have modest hopes:

  • Aegis Rim gameplay
  • Dragon Quest XI Switch news/footage
  • Castlevania something

I don't know what to expect but it's always interesting to see the Playstation press conference on TGS because of how different it is from other events even if it's mediocre or bad sometimes. Last one which I really liked was in 2015 and 2016. Last year was bad but this year I'm optimistic.

I love all the Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link hype, but we're not seeing it till Granblue Fes. During the Granblue Summer Fes 2018 in Osaka, Cygames had a slide dedicated to Re: Link which said it will share new information at Granblue Fes on December 15 / 16.

Hopefully something comes out of all these recent job listings though:
  • September 2017: VanillaWare was hiring for an unannounced project
  • September 2017: Square Enix was hiring for NieR-related work
  • October 2017: Square Enix was hiring for Dragon Quest-related work with Unreal Engine 4
  • November 2017: Aquaplus was hirng for new Utawarerumono and ToHeart projects (Utawarerumono Zan has since been announced)
  • November 2017: Spike Chunsoft was hiring for a Dangnronpa project mentioning PS4, PS Vita, and action
  • November 2017: Artdink was hiring for a PlayStation 4 action RPG
  • January 2018: Atlus was hiring for a "PS4 high-end action game"
  • July 2018: Square Enix was hiring for an action RPG developed by Business Division 8
  • July 2018: Potentially Bandai Namco was hiring for a "major online game" for PS4 and PC
  • July 2018: Potentially Bandai Namco was hiring for a robot IP action game for PS4 and arcade
  • July 2018: Potentially Bandai Namco was hiring for work on a new simulation RPG for PS4
  • July 2018: Unknown company was hiring for a 3D fighting action game for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC whose development was assumed to end around February 2019
  • August 2018: Potentially B.B. Studio was hiring for work on a hero robot simulation game for PS4 and PC (Super Robot Wars?)

As of right now, i'm hoping to see:

  • New Devil May Cry V footage for Dante and mysterious new character
  • New footage for Sekiro, with some new ninja tools shown
  • Nioh 2 gameplay reveal
  • Babylon's Fall gameplay reveal
  • New Kingdom Hearts III trailer, showing either Big Hero 6 or Riku gameplay
  • New footage for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, showing off new gameplay and progress
  • Gameplay reveal for Left Alive
  • Android 17 reveal for Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Ninja Gaiden 4 announced and blows everyone out of the fucking water
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 reveal and it's being helmed by the Dragon's Dogma online team, while also announcing a cross over event for Monster Hunter World
I bolded the unlikely, but why not add them in anyway. I would say Granblue Fantasy Re:Link, but i'm pretty sure it was confirmed that the next time we'll see it will be in gran fes in December.

What I mainly want to see is new Switch announcements from third parties. It's been more than a year since they had development kits already, so we should see more of their projects be revealed. Also, while they don't typically attend TGS, I'm hoping Nintendo has a Direct around this time to show more details on Pokemon Let's Go! along with Super Mario Party. A Smash character reveal, and a look at some 2019 titles would also be nice as well.
