I kinda don't want to spoil any other map location besides Miami for Hitman 2 but I'm sure they'll reveal another map before November.

Rumor is it's Columbia.

Best Guacamelee 2 at just over 10 hours!

Probably the hardest game I've beat in years but the last boss was laughably easy. Incredible game overall, easily a 5/5 from me.

hollow knight is overwhelming mostly in a good way

certainly the one thing i don't feel is... like... more powerful? Over time? Maybe it's just cos I look so small and squishy all the time. Idk. If I look at the abilities I'm getting I should feel hella cool but I kinda don't.

So would you say the progression bugs you a bit?

Did you play it on hard? I'm not a Pro Gamer TM but much like the first game I found it was kind of on the easy side, compared to, say, Ori.

You never get overwhelmingly powerful. Things becoming easier are a combination of stat improvements (let's say this is like one-fifth of the equation), learning to use mobility options, getting the right loadouts for what you're facing, and synergizing your charms correctly. For example, combining the dung beetle charm with wombmother makes them more powerful than if you just used either on their own.

I thought Ori was relatively mild except for the escape sequences. The checkpoint making I felt was relatively generous. Plus, the high-level platforming isn't as finger-mangling as Guacamelee's hardest stuff.

Lol no. I don't think it even unlocks until you beat it on normal.

Did you not do the challenge rooms? They were insane. So many skills and abilities to remember and execute at the same time with pretty much perfect timing.

I didn't like Ori so I barely played it, can't say how it compares.

Why does Jeff look like Ronaldo?

I got a couple keys if that's what you mean, but then I was kinda just done with it so I finished the game. They were tougher, but still it was just mostly being able to remember which order to press which button combinations in. And yeah, the last boss was weirdly easy. I think I died more to X'taby in the first game than I did overall in the second.

CIA control over Africa about exploiting civil wars and ethnic tensions: Ghost Babel did it before MGSV

The whole idea of the heroic "Legend" being manufactured: Ghost Babel did it before MGS3 and MGSV

The shadow to your unit that cleaned up after you secretly and resents you: Ghost Babel did it before MGSV

That shadow unit's true foe being a mysterious nameless government entity known only through a codename that emphasized their unknowability: Ghost Babel did it before MGSV

Guy with a robotic trick arm: Ghost Babel did it before PW and V

You go through the bonus missions and you get more stuff, like GB Universe Big Boss being involved with the very first plans for Metal Gear from the start (before MGS3, PW, and V), the reveal that the VR Missions you've been playing as someone trained to look and act like Snake (though this was definitely supposed to be an MGS2 tease), and at one point they even use the phrase "the phantom of Big Boss," though to refer to Metal Gear itself (though then again, Sahelanthropus is basically treated as "the phantom" of Skull Face in V)

Kojima fucking ripped of Tomokazu Fukushima

I don't care at all about Best Character but I hope Madeline and Arteus are at least talked about.

Who is this year's Helmet Kruger - a meme character that somehow wins

maaaaan I need to start Hollow Knight, but I also need to finish 2-3 games this week because 3 games come out next week, and I should stop typing and get back to that right this second since I've already wasted enough time I coulda spent on that tonight...

Yoku now has a challenger for Best Character:

I should probably play around more with my charm loadout. I mainly stick to a pure sword-dodge style which is maybe hampering me a bit.

Horrible goose is too popular to ignore. I believe in the GotY process to make the right choice.

While all other institutions fail, this one will hold true.
