Yeah. I was just running out of title room, and Sony ForwardWorks wasn't fitting.
Yes, they are. It's a SIE ForwardWorks game =)
Yeah. I was just running out of title room, and Sony ForwardWorks wasn't fitting.
Would be really, really surprised if it wasn't.
Hope this is good, but the title of the game never gave me much confidence. Arc the Lad R is really rad though. We'll find out in 2 days. At least the music is going to be awesome.
Also the brief little teaser they released yesterday.
Extremely hopeful for this given how Arc the Lad R turned out, and also Wright Flyer's work on Another Eden.
Yeah, WA3 was so good! Virginia's still one of my favs too.It really hurts that all those mid-tier SNES/PS1/PS2 franchises have ended up like this. :( Not that they're on mobile per se, but they have all these gatcha mechanisms. Wild Arms was my very first JRPG and I have such fond memories. WA3 had very good music too.
I really never understood why something as trivial as a game being translated for the west is so "confidential". If you are not sure yet, just say "we'd like to" or "we are planning on it" or "maybe at some point" or something like that.
It's a ForwardWorks game, which means it's never coming out of Asia.
Logically yeah, but I think I'm just super skeptical when the title is "Million Memories" and it looks like it could easilybe a FGO-like thing with Wild Arms character crossover and fanservice overriding what could be a cool new Wild Arms games with a brand new story and setting. So we'll see - I guess. Anecdotally speaking, WA would realistically be the project that Sony would put the most investment in as it's the bigger of the two between Arc the Lad and Wild Arms, and Wright Flyer is also more prolific.
Like all the other dead IPs got resurrected by Gacha- and Pachinko-spinoffs?Not like this.
Well, if somehow it could lead to this series' ressurection, why not? Don't expect me to play a gacha game for long though, as I won't spend a dime for this.
Heh. A man can dream, though I do admit it is wishful thinking. Fire Emblem: Heroes performs exceptionaly well, and it gives more attention to the series (let's hope that Three Houses will be good - yes, I'm aware that Awakening is the one that saved the series from oblivion, not the gacha game).Like all the other dead IPs got resurrected by Gacha- and Pachinko-spinoffs?
:-/

They couldn't even bother to use their, imo, quite good and unique newer battle system? I really did enjoy the HEX system and really did think it could be adapted to mobile without too much issue. Kinda of a wasted opportunity I think.Game design seems to be ala Dragalia Lost/Shironeko Project, real-time action RPG. Gacha comes in the forms of cards that you equip to characters.
So it's Tales of VS? Don't know what to think of that honestly, not a fan of the idea initially but maybe the execution is good. So, if I'm not wrong, it's a brand new story, but one that basically blends all the main protagonist from all Wild Arms games into one timeline of its own unique story. Since the game seems to only have equipment-gacha, and no character-gacha, it means all the protagonist of the Wild Arms games are canonical to the MM story and not just some random avatar that's from a gacha.
I only played WA4 that use hex system. The combat system in wa4 is kinda slow of I remember it right. Probably not too suited for mobile gamesThey couldn't even bother to use their, imo, quite good and unique newer battle system? It's was on WA5 too, and I disagree. I think it could be adapted to mobile, make the turns faster and have quicker but still flash animations. Anything but a action rpg, the series was never that and there is room for rpgs on mobile.I only played WA4 that use hex system. The combat system in wa4 is kinda slow of I remember it right.
