That user posted a publicly available company twitter profile, I don't think many would consider that doxxing, however it was considered internet sleuthing of a potentially unrelated employee and the user was permanently banned for it.Oh I don't disagree at all. Just the severity of the ban but ignoring the dox was kinda shocking to me.

Apologies then. Following the thread at the time they werent banned after the mod edit. That user posted a publicly available company twitter profile, I don't think many would consider that doxxing, however it was considered internet sleuthing of a potentially unrelated employee and the user was permanently banned for it.
It is unfortunate what happened, but we have been clear on our stance on this. I don't think the situation with the Daily Caller poster would've played out much differently had those articles not been posted, perhaps just not quite so swiftly....I did not know they got banned. Without them that Daily Caller jackass would have run amok. I'll leave it here, I'm just kind of shocked.
Security has been an important focus of the forum's administrators and developers, in order to prevent anyone from interrupting the groupthink.
You need to shill a bit more for theLOL "groupthink"
Dear Resetera Mods, When do I get my degree from the Frankfurt community college of cultural marxism?

Heh, finally. ^^He was outed for posting about his love of trolling ERA (and apparently every other site he visits) on IGN's forums and got perma'd
Sure, but what does that have to with ResetEra?Oh boy, you missed a hell of a time when Trump was elected President and when he was inaugurated. The tug-of-war that happened with the Donald Trump, President of the United States, and the 2016 U.S. Election page was a freaking war. Refreshing those pages hourly on Nov. 9 and Jan. 20. was pure entertainment. I believe those pages are under strict control now though.
The real question here is why are you IP banned from editing wikipedia.
I really don't know. I don't even edit wikipedia pages.Haha that happened at an old company I worked with because one of our project managers
had some (hopefully ironic) beef with the country of Cyprus. He would go in daily and edit it to say that the
country didn't exist and was a fever dream of Paul McCartney etc. and eventually got our office's IP banned for a while.
I can actually think of at least three places that have hundreds of pages long mega-threads on Era, but that edit seems too civil for one of them at leastProbably a Gaffer. I peek in over there from time to time and hoo boy...
Hands down the most active thread over there is the one dedicated to bitching about Resetera.
Seriously? How salty can you be?Probably a Gaffer. I peek in over there from time to time and hoo boy...

Soy boys, cucks, Tumpkins or incels?I think in retaliation we should vandalize the Wikipedia page for uhh...
Someone help me out here.
Considering it is standard conservative practice to edit wiki pages of founding fathers to match their narratives of the US being a Christian nation, and all the founding fathers being Christians, this seems rather innocuous.A troll edited the ResetEra wikipedia page to say this:
The ResetEra forum is based on the XenForo forum platform.[3] Security has been an important focus of the forum's administrators and developers, in order to prevent anyone from interrupting the groupthink.
Within the first week, ResetEra had over 25,000 active members and over 300,000 posts.[4] and, on the day of august 25, of a joke by the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 there was over 100 bans on the thread alone. For reasons such as "trolling a sensitive thread", "Community hivemind trolling", "Equating rules against bigotry with bookburning", and "Inflammitory Drive-Buy."
How low do you have to be to do this? I'd edit it, but my IP address range has been recently blocked.
Is there an incel wiki page? lol
I do too from time to time... YIKES! Ones world view in the off-topic thread... the thread titles.. scary shit. When they revolve between right and alt-right..Probably a Gaffer. I peek in over there from time to time and hoo boy...
Hands down the most active thread over there is the one dedicated to bitching about Resetera.
How am I being petty? I just pointed it out in disbelief. It's not like I said anything outrageous. What's more petty, someone being bent out of shape enough to edit the page or someone being bent out of shape over the fact it happened?
