How can a month where you're getting three Wonder Boy games be anything other than the best month of GWG history. Seriously guys.

The 360 games male me very happy, especially Monster World, since I've been waiting for a sale on those.

Never heard of the XBOne games.

An extremely meh month, at least for me anyways.

Edit: Didn't see Monster World, that's actually pretty good. Everything else is still terrible though.

I'm not sure yet if this will stop me from getting Prison Architect on the Switch. Free is better than $30, but portable is better than on a big TV.

Bought Livelock for a few quid on sale a while back, it's not bad. I dig the top-down shooter thing, and I dig mechs.

A little underwhelmed this month in general though but as others have said, not a bad thing atm.

Not the most exciting month but considering we got FH2 and For Honour (which I'm currently playing the crap out of) for August I'm not too fussed.

Hell yeah, Monster World Collection. All the naysayers need to experience the glory of the Monster World games before writing the month off.

  • Prison Archetect is the kind of game I'd never necessarily buy, but is solid on a service like this. Appreciated.
  • Livelock looks like Helldivers, or any number of Twin-sticks that littered the 360 Era. If it has a nice hook to it, It could be fun. Local Co-Op, I hope?
  • Lego Star Wars Episode 3 is based on Clone wars, eh? Cool. I kind of appreciate how they're making sure all these otherwise dated Lego games can still be played on the most modern hardware.
  • If I didn't own Monster World collection, this would be FANTASTIC. As is... I easily think it's the star of the month. I find Monster World IV to be more charming than many modern games, and it's otherwise limited legal availability outside Japan makes it a jewel to add to your collection. Add on the fact you get other very solid games included alongside it, and it's a great get.

Really! And with all the excitement of Wonder Boy III's remake, or the upcoming Monster Boy, this is a great way to show people the various faces of the series.

The only Sega Vintage Collection of this set I don't have is Alex Kidd & Co. When they eventually give that one away, I'll be happy to have the entire series playable across multiple generations of consoles. I absolutely love the ease of accessibility these titles have. There's so many titles on other old systems I wish I could just pop up a menu and play almost instantly.

Have any of you complaining actually played Prison Architect? It's a great game. It's like Theme Park, but with inmates, gangs and shanks.

Prison Architect is one of the best simulation games released since Bullfrog's heyday.

Monster World IV is a fantastic game, but I already have it.
Everyone who hasn't played it should definitely try it though.

Oh well, they just had Forza Horizon 2 and For Honor for August. They can't always be great.

Prison Architect and Livelock have decent metacritic scores and look good to me. Shit got real near the end of the Prison Architect trailer I watched.
