I played this so many times back in the day, that trailer gave me a ton of nostalgia.

The press release only mentions NA and EU. Wouldn't be surprised if Japan got physical even for Switch, but we'll see.
The likeness of the actor faces probably a roadblock especially with the second game.
3 is basically a pipedream thanks to the likenesses of actors. Lot of legality to untangle.

I hope there's a Japanese dub option - the English dub is egregious. Also, I seem to remember the original didn't allow for cutscene skipping, so fingers crossed the option will be there.

Yes, and it had english text options, so it's been an import friendly situation in this case. Was even cheaper than the digital version in the EU eShop for me.

Damn I know a lot of people have asked for this. Never played it myself and January is packed but for $20 i will try it.
Probably for ps4 but maybe switch, idk. Good to see capcom getting these remasters on switch day one with other versions tho. Would've bought okami on switch but ps4 version released like 9 months earlier.

Probably going a REmake and RE0 route. Have them individual at $20 then a bundle later on.
Especially so close to RE2, I don't think they'd have been able to push a $60 dollar bundle as easily.
