Marvel's Spider-Man Spoiler Thread [MAJOR UNMARKED SPOILERS]

It does seem weird to me. I would immediately assume Mysterio is 1000% more recognizable than Mr. Negative by casual fans, but there must be a reason for it, whether that's Marvel shenanigans or me thinking Mysterio is more popular than he is (but really, half of the people I've talked to don't know who Mr. Negative is)
Do we have an idea to how long we can switch back to the Classic outfit as I never want to use the new suit.
Probably why Marvel chose him in the game in attempt to boost his popularity in the public as Mr. Negative actually a pretty cool villain and even corrupted both Spider-Man and Aunt May in the comics.

I remember Bryan Intihar kept saying in interviews after the E3 trailer dropped that there were still more villains yet-to-be-revealed aside from the Sinister Six, Kingpin and The Shocker. So to the people that have this game already - who are these other villains?!?
AFAIK, the only person who has been leaking the game skipped all of the sidequests so I don't think anyone knows just yet.

It's a different time of day in each of the scenes, but there's a lot more traffic on the streets and the textures appear sharper in the 2016 gif.
I mean why go through all the same boring old villains and not someone new.

I don't even have anything against Mister Negative, but Mysterio is like my favorite Spidey character. God, I hope he's in the game somehow.
Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck in Far From Home is gonna be so freaking inspired.
I see a completely different set of lighting, a different traffic pattern, as well as much more aggressive DOF and Motion Blur. Not seeing a downgrade (there isn't one)

One of the reddit leakers said there was no downgrades if anyone is curious. The person who posted that extended video in fact, if you cant trust the developer.

Their friend is apparently playing the game and sending them screenshots.
Also, possibly the full number of suits is actually 35, since on the first picture it says 28% complete with 10 suits, which gives us 35/36 total suits.
Unfortunately looks like we have another person who is not entirely sure how to make screenshots on PS4 in the year 2018.

And that's certainly true. I would though mention the large building in focus to the right. It looks completely different to the initial one and seems to be more less detailed to me. The roof Spidey jumps off of is also different as it lacks the coiled wire, some definition in the ground (although that could be the depth of field) and the exhaust vent. So, yeah I have no doubt a lot of elements are dynamic in the background therefore it's tough too judge.
I'm not even saying I think there is a downgrade either. Just saying that looking at these two shots in isolation, makes me greatly prefer the look of the earlier one. Not that the latter looks bad in any way though. Hope that makes sense.

Well, we know that things like Motion Blur and Chromatic Aberration can be turned off, so maybe it's the same with the DOF
High quality depth of field and motion blur are actually generally computationally more expensive features too afaik. But hopefully the smoke/steam from rooftop pipes etc still exists in the final game in some form.
I love that suit too! Maybe this will be in the game as a future DLC. That movie is too iconic for the history of Spider Man in pop culture to not be in this game.
Maybe Insomniac had some copyright problems with Sony?
or because the symbiote isn't in the game but will without a doubt be in future games due to relating to some of the most iconic enemies

Yeah, I don't get that at all. I've started reading Spider-Man stuff again recently and there are a ton of great new characters that I'd like to see grow and get more mindshare, rather than just defaulting back to the iconic villains over and over again.
They should also throw in some of his historic lesser villains, too. Shocker's such a sad sack that he gets into all the games, but what about poor White Rabbit or Speed Demon?
Yeah, how can you become Iconic, if you are never given exposure. Shit The Jackal could be the main villain in a game himself.

It adds nothing, really, but I'm happy to see Spidey doesn't immediately die on contact or freak out and inexplicably just fling himself onto land.
I wish the lucky people who have it already would hurry up and unlock the 2099 costumes. I'd also like to see which head Ghost Spider has.

That's suppose to be Shocker? Pffftwhaa they messed up in that department as I would have never known unless it was pointed out to me.
The yellow pattern on the suit should be enough to tell you it's the shocker. Not to mention to hand weapons.
