Spider-Man Hype Check - Less than a week out

Really is. These dudes never ship it early. It's usually always with me for the day of release because of how late they usually ship it. I think they probably screwed up and dispatched early.
US or another region? Did they give you tracking? Sometimes it says dispatched, but when you track it it never shows.
What's with the downgrades talk I see on twitter? I can't wait to see Digital Foundry's take...
UK via Very. I think I'll know by tomorrow because when they usually dispatch it, I then get a follow up email from their courier with the tracking information and they tend to deliver within 48 hours.

I didn't notice at first but there's no reflection of spiderman on the glass of some buildings.
This will be my second Spider-Man game ever.

Happens with every big release nowadays, not gonna make any judgements till I see it with my own eyes.
Do we have a file size for the game yet? Preordered digitally, so I'm hoping I'll be able to have it downloaded to play at midnight on launch.
It looks like it depends on the angle somewhat. At 2:40 there's no reflection when he's looking straight, but when he does to the side you can see a reflection.
One of the things I really want to see are cynical New Yorkers who see Spidey and go "Not bad, but the real Spidey's taller." "I wonder how much this guy paid for that replica outfit."
And then have some one-off lines if you zip up and away or do something crazy where they freak out because you're the real deal. That'd be fun to just pretend you're an impersonator walking up to them street level and then getting reactions out of citizens.

There was a very short video posted in here a couple days ago on base PS4 and also a couple screenshots, looked comparable to my eyes, but quality wasn't great so hard to judge.
If this trend is anything to go by, the base version should look the same minus the difference in resolution.

I'm in the same boat, and kinda scared that Spiderman will kill it after all these years. I thought God of War was going to do it, but it pulled through. Though it will be worth it and it will give me a reason to by a Pro... If I could find one, the Illinois area is sold out of PS4 Pros everywhere
Those first couple swings, I thought the video had been slowed down to show animations like it was in slow motion, but they get some actual momentum shortly after so it was just weird at the start. Not the best webswinging player but if it's just a kid I bet they had a blast either way.
I just read the game won't feature an option to play with the dub and subtitles you want but will force the language regarding the one setup on your console...

I have the vaguest of memories that another game did that as well. A few years ago.
Drops in God of War have me spooked. No offense to JStevenson but I'm more of a "Show me don't tell me" type of person when it comes to devs speaking on quality of their game's performance and visuals between versions or models.
God of War resolution mode on the Pro drops lower than the base model.

The person playing this isn't using web launch at all. Or whatever it's called. You zip straight to an object and launch forward by pressing jump on the way.
It's a crucial speed building mechanic and they don't use it once

At what? Do we have actual official released quality footage from the base version to compare? Seems like it has all been captured from the pro. That's my whole issue lol. I have the Pro bundle pre-ordered but I really don't want to go through with it unless the standard suffers at all. Whether that be iq or performance.
Yes. That's why performance mode is the best way to play, not available on the standard ps4.
If I may. The difference between Ratchet and Clank on Pro and base.
Performance mode fluctuates far too often to call it the best option, imo.
Oh, I mean we have so much footage lol. The speed is fine.
