As someone who absolutely loved the original show, and never saw the new season, this isn't that appaling, seeing as
the original show was all a dream anyway.
Nah, it clearly bothers her badly from how many interviews she has done in tears.

I would actually watch the show if this is the reason why.
This really didn't bother me very much, she's already worth quite a lot, and if it ensures the rest of the cast and crew, some who haven't worked in acting in sometime, can continue on with a hopefully lucrative and successful show, and I think that's worthwhile. The show is ultimately, even the new run, a somewhat progressive voice that targets middle America (though with the occasional poor episode or flubbed message). It is not a conservative show, despite how some people view it, and I think a show like this may be important in the current climate.
It's also entirely likely she was low balled, as if she didn't accept this offer she'd be screwing over her former colleagues yet again.
And the cast should look at the camera knowingly whenever they bring it up. Like when Fuller House talks about Michelle
A show that was ressurected from an ending where the husband died to not have happened now has a spinoff with the wife dead. That's some grade A Irony.
Really says something about you when all your coworkers are more than willing to leave your ass behind. The exact opposite of GotG.
