This really didn't bother me very much, she's already worth quite a lot, and if it ensures the rest of the cast and crew, some who haven't worked in acting in sometime, can continue on with a hopefully lucrative and successful show, and I think that's worthwhile. The show is ultimately, even the new run, a somewhat progressive voice that targets middle America (though with the occasional poor episode or flubbed message). It is not a conservative show, despite how some people view it, and I think a show like this may be important in the current climate.
It's also entirely likely she was low balled, as if she didn't accept this offer she'd be screwing over her former colleagues yet again.
