Call me ballsy, but i have 8 wins. Agreed on your wins except the Iowa loss. I don't really expect much from Iowa (unless they are playing Penn St), but i will admit that the Michigan St game could go either way.

As ryseing is pointing out, it's @ iowa . weird things happen when nebraska plays in that state. like fumbling five billion times against Iowa State.

GT is always shit in years they are predicted to be good and good in years they fly under the radar. Hopefully this is the latter.

I think the new D helps us, we win 8, and loose to the obvious ie Clemson, UGA, Miami, and VT. We end up being one of those teams nobody wants to play who isn't ranked.

GT has played Miami close recently and they always blow the lead late in the game. Who knows maybe they pull the upset this year, but I also can't see it happening as Miami returns a lot of starters on both sides.

Miami plays @VT/@GT in consecutive weeks. I think they split those and drop one more, but still win the Coastal.

I did my work's NFL fantasy draft based purely on what I knew of the players' college careers, since I barely watch NFL but I scream at the TV for Jacksonville State games, apparently.

I'm expecting CFB to be the Year of the RB (that and kicker) so I just drafted beast RBs like Kamara, Fournette, Michel. Late picked Chubb and super late snagged Kerryon Johnson, who everyone slept on.

I was stoked until I realized I went all SEC and a good percentage were fucking Bulldogs.

At least my TEs are all Gators (and coincidentally all questionable due to injury...)

We getting a new thread this week?
Yo Yasuke just found out your Rice right now has this kid from Cleveland are signed to play QB - Kid graduates next year and is 6'5" 230 - slings it like a pro. If they can keep him off any bigger program radars he could be a solid QB.

He isn't rated really anywhere, 247 doesn't have a composite and they only have him as a 3 star.

For lovers
I don't want or mean to tell you how to do things, but probably Wednesday is best. (Thursday seems too last minute, especially since there are games that day)

On the sunken place, I put it up Thursday morning for week 1 last year and it was fine. If I do it Wednesday, it won't be up until Wednesday night because I'll be swamped during the day.

Hopefully they keep him then, but if he's actually any good, wouldn't be surprised if he got poached lol

Does it require weekly work or do we just draft something and let it do it's thing?

Depends on how invested you are or if it's a money league though I'm just looking for it to be a for fun league. You can set it and forget it but to maximize your scoring you would need to adjust your lineup for bye weeks or to take advantage of matchups as well playing the waiver wire to add/drop over/under performers.

Calvin Coolidge Football is back, y'all!

So pumped I am going to take some Wake Mate so that I wake up right before 11 AM CST on Saturday! Woo!

There any interest in cramming together a quick CFB fantasy league on Yahoo?

I am game! Set it up with standard scoring and send out the invites!

Depth chart for our first cupcake

We have skill players but man I hope Mullen and co. have figured out some kind of fucking witchcraft to teach Felipe Franks how to be even a semi-competent QB. If I have to be subjected to any more of last season's run-around-like-beheaded-chicken-and-throw-50-yds-hoping-for-a-miracle shit, I'm going to lose it.

Well let's see what kind of traction we get.

https://college.fantasysports.yahoo...d8d1d38a4dd&soc_trk=lnk&ikey=db2a31626900b00f

Right now max teams is 20. Looking to for it to be 12 or 16 team and in keeping with the college theme having 4 divisions. Division winners advance but seeded by overall standings. Playoffs are weeks 11, 12 and 13 and will be 6 or 8 teams.

Scoring is default which looks to be same as default NFL if you're familiar with that side of fantasy.

Right now I set draft to be Wed. Aug 29th @ 8PM CDT in trying to get up and running for week one but can be changed. Can even forego week one if need be.

Seriously.

The kid has raw athletic ability but is totally lacking any game sense. Mullen is a QB whisperer, so I'm really hoping that he can develop that.

Also wouldn't have hated it if Nick Fitzgerald found a way to transfer down here with Mullen.

Yahoo fantasy football is projecting true Freshman Adrian Martinez (QB) from Nebraska to be a top 10 fantasy points producer in week 1 against Akron. Is Akron really so much worse than the 50 other cupcakes that Power 5 teams are playing week 1? LOL

This kid has played in one game in two years, I certainly hope he delivers the goods!

Fully expected Franks to be named starter but still incredibly disappointing never the less. I guess we'll see how the next two week play out.

Yeah, I mean what choice do we have? Still, it shouldn't be that hard to set this offense up for Franks to succeed given the talent. Now I don't know how the OL is going to look but it can't be that bad.

Just seems like everyone around us can put young QBs in and have them playing well enough to make the offense look competent or even great. Our one bright spot at QB was Grier - before and after we might as well have had paper fucking bags at the position.
