Apologies for harping on about my adventures in Steam lately, I must sound like a sweet summer child to you guys. But I'm realising there are a shit ton of survival games for PC, like a SHIT TON. There must be a fascinating sociological reason for the prevalence of the genre this decade, from Minecraft to DayZ to the latest releases like The Forest constantly hitting the top charts of Steam, like we're all collectively getting miserable at the neverending barrage of apocalyptical news hitting our eyeballs every day, so we're subconsciously anticipating the future as a nightmarish wasteland consisting of nothing but searching for random shit and crafting it in homemade shelters while being hunted, and so playing these games is a cathartic way to cope with that.

Or they're just fun to play.

Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of decent (say 75%+) PS360 multiplats which aren't on PC (yet)?

If there isn't one then we need to make it.

This would just make me sad, especially once you list the amazing stuff that has been pulled from sale from PC marketplaces like Blur, one of my favorite games ever.

Guys I need some advice please.

I have an older i7 with 16gb ddr3
I popped a 1060 gaming X, and a new SSD/AIO cooler end of last year to try and update it and am pretty happy with the results
It I am guessing it I want to do more, it's a time to ditch the old platform and start again?

Lol, don't worry about it.
Also, Steam has a bunch of discovery features you might not know about.
You can "Follow" certain publishers or devs you like to get notified when they release new games. You reach those pages by clicking on the Dev/Pub names on a storefront, or by exploring https://store.steampowered.com/developer/ and /publisher respectively.
For example SEGA.

You can follow curators you like and get informed about interesting games. I recommend theFalcomShillingSociety (we also shill non-Falcom quality games :P)

There are discovery-pages for every tag, like Metroidvania.

The new Popular Upcoming page is pretty good at showing you interesting upcoming releases.

Then there are, of course, the obvious ones like the stuff on the front page. Discovery Queue, Friend/Curator/etc recommendations.

I dislike Toriyama's character art, and I never found their battle systems particularly engaging.

I think I can understand seeing how a lot of Toriyama's art is just the same thing over and over again with very little variation. As for the battle systems they are as bare bones as it comes.

...I just learned you can use PS4 controllers with some Steam games.

BlankScarceAfricanporcupine-size_restricted.gif

Steam now has it were you can choose to have it use a PS4 in games, the only issue is that not all games have DS4 UI so you will see Xbox button prompts instead, some games like Okami as an example do have DS4 UI and even let you use the touch pad to draw it. You also may have seen it, Steam lets you customize the color of the light in your PS4 controller and the brightness.

I decided to be an asshole today and to make ya'll sad, so i made these fake mock-ups:
Nier G will hopefully get released for PC later on, they might even remaster it later on and also localize Nier R while they are at it and make it a bundle pack or something. I feel like Nier G still holds up well today and in a lot of ways is still better than Nier A, the main difference being that combat in Nier A is a lot better and "easier". Also how about we replace P4 with P2 instead?

No, no, GT.
DDS1+2
EO series
Devil Survivor.
Persona 2 duology.
Add Strange Journey to that list (it's a shame that the Redux version of that game came out earlier this year and I guess that a lot of people just didn't seem to care about the game)

STREETS OF RAGE 4 GETS ANNOUNCED AND YOU WASTE YOUR TIME QUIBBLING ABOUT RPGS?
Streets of Rage 4 Announced (Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games and DotEmu)
No Yuzo Koshiro, no deal.

Add Strange Journey to that list (it's a shame that the Redux version of that game came out earlier this year and I guess that a lot of people just didn't seem to care about the game)
Well, that's more of an EO game to me, than mainline SMT.

I really want Persona 4 Golden on Steam. The Vita version is great, but one day my Vita might die. :(
I really should go back and try to get the true ending in that game, I put over 100 hours into the game only to get the bad ending, I want to get all the trophies for the game as well but that would require me to look at a lot of guides and in general it's off putting having to go throw it all again

I have no real interest in Persona but I would totally be down for Megami Tensei on Steam which feels even less likely to ever happen.

PSA.

DQ11 25% off at GMG. If you use one of those additional 6% off coupons from earlier in the month (I believe they sent em out for Tomb Raider and DQ around middle of August)..it will stack.

Just preordered it for 41$ :D
Wow this worked. Glad i kept the email, codes are unique. And the codes were set to expire in just hours, and the 25% sale just started today. Just enough overlap.

From what I've seen so far this looks like the cross between Sleeping Dogs and Shadowrun I always didn't know I wanted.

Edit: The writing totally reminds me of playing Shadowrun tabletop with my friends back in the day. Or Johnny Mnemonic. Either way, I'm sold so far :P

OK, so I do have a complaint about the combat in this Cyberpunk stream... all the goons are just pew-pew cover goons. There should be less generic shooty guys and there should be enemy representation of all these enhancements and tech besides the big bads, especially since it's supposed to be common place for those groups.

The game itself looked amazing, but man the dialogue was leaning pretty heavily into try-hard edge.

I thought Witcher 3 conversations flowed far more nuanced & natural.

Cyberpunk looks cool. I'm honestly way more impressed with the theoretical combat setup than anything (them non-standard, tacticool guns and cyber powers).

That said, there are dozens and dozens of things that I could pick out that are very unlikely to see the final release. Or to clarify - things that very well could be in this specific quest in the final release, but wouldn't be replicated widely or systemically throughout the game, just due to sheer workload.
