I can't see why Cloudy would have an issue with someone fronting Remington's dues for him.
That said, I would follow up with Jack directly before making that commitment on his behalf.
This should still be a viable option even when/if Jack Remington is bounced from the league ownership roster.
The Dinner Out precedent kind of opens things up in this regard. I'm always a backer of preferring to see folks active and engaged in the community in the league to keep this thread alive with excitement and trash talk but I would also prefer to keep the league at its 16-team threshold (which we've maintained for most of its history). I certainly don't see any reason to deter him from joining the league if he's both a committed fantasy baller and would be willing to join up to Resetera on top of that.

This is a great league. Lucky person doesn't even have to wait in a waiting list.
Has the draft order been decided yet? Not to familiar with the yahoo setup anymore so not sure if I see it there and Im just blind.
Anyone have any idea if you can be in two drafts on Yahoo at the same time? I volunteered for another league on here where the draft starts at 8 PM EST tomorrow, vs ours that starts at 10:30 EST. I'm sure there will be at least a couple rounds of overlap. This one will take precedence since it's paid and will be first rounds vs end rounds, but was hoping I would be able to also complete the other one.
Yeah that's probably what I'll have to end up doing. Not ideal but oh well. I mostly was worried that since both teams are under the same account that it would only allow me to be in one draft room at a time. Hopefully that's not the case. But if I end up autodrafting the 15th and 16th in a 12 teamer that's not the end of the world anyway.

I'm guessing Yahoo hasn't predicted Jeffrey being on Pup for the first 6 weeks. Or that Reed has chronic toe issues. Or that McCoy is about to fall off a cliff on the worse offense in the NFL. Elliot and Rodgers are solid though :)

I wouldn't mind the gambit so much if Mahomes had a cake early schedule that would have allowed you to sell high on him if he blasted out of the gates.
Unfortunately he's got a murderer's row of defenses lined up in the first half of the season. Only the 49ers and Cincy matchups at Arrowhead appear tasty at an immediate glance.
Yeah but last season I had a point where I had to roll out Bortles? Or worse. So why not roll out the new starters and whomever sticks is the guy?

Given who was available, I likely would have passed on both Jimmy G and Mahomes for Luck... who pretty much is a Top 5 guy provided he's fully recovered (and thus far he appears to be). Frankly, surprised he slipped to the 8th round... Dinner Out will have some likely trade leverage given that he also owns Brees.
Could everyone post what your team name on Yahoo is? Or someone knowledgeable write up a list? Would be helpful for a noob like me to be able to match the teams with who's posting on here.
I'm Knibb High Football, content with my draft. Bench WRs are a little sketchy, but if Luck is back I think Mack and Grant should be serviceable. Definitely could be a mistake passing on Luck for Rivers, but I think the weapons around Rivers are particularly strong this year, if their defense can keep them on the field I think most Chargers are gonna have a great year.

lol, jk, I know the draft report cards are trash, never put any stock into them.
Have to do some trash talking. I mostly went with upside guys this year when I usually play it safe. Let's see if it pays off.
Yahoo gave me an A for my draft. Of course, that means I'll most likely be in the bottom 4 at the end of the year.
