Well, there is hope:
Hopefully I'm correct in thinking that there are more suits than what that leaked picture shows.
Hopefully...maybe in the DLC also :)

That's far lower than average playtester time on normal difficulty
Don't want to see story stuff, but can someone link the suits pic. I don't even consider those as spoilers.
If they took my least favourite plotline and also used it to push Miles I would be very nonplussed to say the least
I mean it's going to depend on your skill and how much you engage with the side activities. I never understand how people need to have this quantified so specifically, 12 hours is a lot of entertainment for the money.
Thats the issue though, for a game like this you basically have to have Goblin or Ock.
We know Norman is in but doesn't seem to be Goblin currently.
Its such a base level requirement that the fact that he was hidden seems ridiculous personally.
Especially when you basically have the Sinister 6 already revealed and set up completely in the E3 trailer,
Personally Venom/symbiote, or something like Harry Goblin are worthy of the huge secrecy
My worry from that though is if its worthy of that much secrecy the story will essentially be "OH MY GOD IT WAS DOC OCK ALL ALONG!!!!"
with literally everyone saying "we know"
Honestly it feels a bit like The Arkham Knight but at least Ock wasn't presented as a new hype character.
Doc Oc makes an appearance early and he's hinted at in the book. I dont think it's meant to be a shock in game to the player, just to Peter
12 hours for the main story sounds great, I'd be totally fine with it. Better than dragging on and on with padding. There'll be plenty of other things to do as well
fuck em for putting the best alt costume, the symboite, behind DLC knowing DAMN well everybody wanted that
I don't think the symbiote suit will be DLC honestly. I think it will play a major role in the next game.
How soon do we unlock the homecoming suit? Can I use the classic suit right away after beating the opening?

It's pretty obvious that suit is too important to be an alternate costume

With the Venom movie releasing in October, it's a safe assumption to assume that at least one of the DLC's will feature that costume - or that plot line for all we know.
This game even being in the vague orbit of Slott's run guarantees that Ock will be PETER'S GREATEST NEMESIS ™. You learn to live with it.
I'm really hoping that if the Green Goblin doesn't make an appearance in the main game, that he'll be in one of the DLC's. That would make it the perfect villain balance for me.
That's another villain that's too much for DLC.
DLC villains are like Mysterio or something. Green Goblin, Venom shouldnt be reserved for short side content
12 hours is still a pretty good chunk of playtime since linear single player games generally take around 10-ish hours to complete. Knowing that it's longer than that is a plus in my book.
I hope the suits ability is just to play the intro music.
I am shocked the 60s Cartoon one didn't make it in or the first suit.
I used to buy the action figures because they were bundled with tapes from that series.
