With public figures a public announcement like that is unfortunately almost always way closer to the end than with a similar news from a private citizen. That's way faster than expected, RIP. This feels weird, honestly. I've seen him talk a lot. 08 is seared in my memory, this feels weird.
With his type of tumor treatment was only going to give him a little more time, he was likely to die within a year of being diagnosed.
Heroes don't use their last actions on Earth to ensure that fascists remain in power.Rest in Peace to an American hero.
Didn't agree with him on much, but he was the definition of hero.
Not to be that guy or anything, but McCain was already a yes vote for him...RIP. Trump is a happy guy now. McCains seat is gonna be filled with another yes vote for kavanaugh
Correct. Not to be that guy or anything, but McCain was already a yes vote for him...
Agree. I didn't agree with his politics AT ALL. Like not even a little bit. However, he at least presented his politics with a shred of dignity that is severely lacking in today's political climate.Sad, and thoughts and prayers to his family.
I have a lot of political opinions about him but it feels like the Senate just got even less decent, at least the Republicans.
I have no kind words for somebody working to deny healthcare to other people. There are plenty of better people that had to die to cancer and only managed to live half as long as him. I don't have it in me to pity him. The best I can do is keeping it at that.
Fuck you if this is said in cheer.
Mccain wasn't a vote on anything. He was holding a seat hostage basically unable to vote since last December. Not to be that guy or anything, but McCain was already a yes vote for him...
A defining moment.
Didn't agree 99% of the time but we got to see this look of disappointment on McConnell because of his no vote. RIP McCain
