Any Era folks at Pax West next week?

Just want to gauge hype about Pax West at Era.

The convention is not that big on new games announcement, but this year I'm excited for Artifact (how long has it been since Valve has a booth at a convention and brings a new game) and as always tons of playable indies and Diablo on Switch will be playable. I also always try to squeeze a VR demo from the Playstation booth too.

I'm not into BR,but both Fortnite and PUGB have huge presences there this year, so i'm going to avoid the general area due to overcrowding.

So who in Era is going and what are you excited for?

I will most likely be there. I really want to try out DMC5 and Smash Ultimate. I've never been to pax despite living in the area for over a decade so this should be pretty cool.

I'll be there. Mostly just to check stuff out, see if there is anything new. I likely won't line up for anything big. I go every year since I live in the area, and my favorite part is just going and wandering around aimlessly.

From experience, games as big a hype as DMC5 are going to have capped demo lines in seconds when the doors open and, even then, it will take two or three hours max to get through.

Of course, wait won't be too much of a problem if you have portables or books to keep busy.

Unfortunately, I missed the opening sales for badges but I already been to 3 conventions this year and now I have to try and save.

Hopefully I can go next year.

I'll be there. Hopefully will have a game I'm working on be playable there as well but it's super last minute timing so not sure.

I'm not going to PAX, but for anyone who is or is even just in the area, I'd recommend checking out the Seattle Indie Expo on Sunday. It's free to attend (no PAX badge needed) and it's really cool to check out games in such an intimate environment.

Only going Friday since I didn't have enough money this year to go beyond that. Will probably skip the big games this year and focus on more indie stuff since I only got one day and I don't want to waste three hours for one game.

Thanks for the tip! Don't know if I can make it out Sunday but I'll definitely try.

The indie hall, I remember it being upstairs, should have UDON's merchandise booth.

Would anyone be willing to do me a huge favor? I have a friend who has a birthday coming up in two weeks and I want to get him the two NITW pins at the Finji Booth (6210). They're Gregg and Mae pins.

If anyone is able to snag them I can paypal right away. I just honestly can't justify the ebay prices right now (and furthermore I haven't seen the mae one even pop up on ebay since its a second year pin).

The only other pin would be the donut county pin. But that's just for me personally and isn't a big priority at all. I think it's at booth #11040.

Any help would be super appreciated. And if not, I totally understand.

There's surprisingly little info on PAX West. I was hoping for a media blowout on Spelunky 2 and UFO 50 which are supposed to be playable, but I can't find pretty much anything anywhere.
