Musynx - $26.66
Superbeat Xonic - $26.66
FF11 - $10.50
Shadow of the Colossus - $26.67

All games I'd get next to nothing for going the Kijiji route.

Total is very similar to what I paid for each originally, haha. Paid off Anthem and put some money down on Death Stranding. I'm digging deep here because everything else imminent (like until Christmas) is completely paid off already taking advantage of trade in deals. EB is crazy. If you are patient and keep your eyes open, $$$$$.

When a game is super new, or you can utilize one of their promotions, EB can give more than fair value for your games. Especially when the option is to either drive there and unload a bunch of games instantly, or deal with individual kijiji.craigslist sales that could take an unknown amount of time to sell (if there are any biters at all), and it's no contest. The only time I'll default to Kijiji/Craigslist is if it's a game that just released, and I know the demand is high and I can sell it for like $20 less than retail. But for older games? Fuck that, my time is much more valuable than the extra $5 I may or may not get.

Has anyone ever sold anything on Ebay? If I can get the 500 Million PS4 I'm probably gonna sell my current ps4 on Ebay. Kijji has been too much of a hassle lately.

I know I should NOT accept paypal otherwise I'm treated as an "Ebay store", but how do I make sure the prospective buyer doesn't claim to have not received he package/do a chargeback?

Well, I just went balls in on buying a new PC, so I'm out of any possible PS4 buying. Good luck to the rest of you though!

Its up if you care. Almost pulled the trigger then talked sense into myself.

https://www.ebgames.ca/PS4/Games/754939/500-million-limited-edition-ps4-pro-console

Thank you sir.

wow still up on walmart.ca guys, and ebgame too, hmmm maybe this won't be so hard to find, it is pretty fucking expensive tho

its gone now

The buttons are active, but if you try to process it, you get an out of stock message. Walmart didn't seem to have a limit either unlike EB.

Do not jump onto eBay selling with console sales. Sell some smaller stuff first so you at least have a clue about what you're doing.

I don't know of any way to opt out of Paypal. Maybe there is now that eBay takes credit cards directly, but the chargeback system is the same regardless.

You can still charge a Switch with the cheaper one. If you tend to have more micro-USB cables around, I'd go with that one. Otherwise, if you have more USB-C cables, I'd go with the former for convenience.

It's a shame they don't sell the original Mi Powerbank anymore. This thing is so thin and small and convenient to carry. It's roughly the size of a phone so it's easy to double it up with your phone in your pocket.

The new one is a fair bit thicker. Shame.

It has USB-C though right? I'd call that an improvement.

Looks like it's sold out there.

What a gong show. Luck is with whoever managed to get one!
Yup, I was able to order one on the french site, then cancelled when I realised I won't have the money lol.

You could have ordered it only in two ways: through the mobile link or the french site. The english site link went live after it was sold out!

Haha I can't believe it's such a problem given how many times they've had these limited edition purchases yet their site seems to die....

A friend of mine passed away a few months ago who owned the Personal Computer Museum in Brantford. Tomorrow at 8am I'm helping with a Garage Sale of excess items from the collection. There will be gaming items, TVs and a variety of other objects.

If anyone wants to show up here are the details:

You were friends with Syd Bolton? I posted about his death in this thread when it happened in June. Really sad.

Yes I was. I spent a lot of time with Syd over the years and worked with him on several video projects. He was one of the most knowledgeable people I knew in the video game space. I've been assisting his family with his video game collection ever since he passed away.

Before he passed away we worked together on an experimental video to capture his game collection in a new method:

When items came into the museum he would set them aside for me to spend additional time with:

Syd helped in capturing footage of the first Nintendo video game system:

He would regularly donate and share items from his collection to be featured on the channel:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ8ry41IBG4

This is just a small scope of Syd's influence and work on my channel. He had a huge impact on the Canadian video game community not only as a collector but as a curator of computer and gaming history. For me though, I'm gonna miss him as a Friend.

I would be upset that I bought it just a month ago at full price, but it is such a wonderful game and was also able to play it on vacation so I have no regrets.

Anyone who doesn't own it yet should rectify that immediately.
Honestly, Hollow Knight is possibly the least expensive, extremely high quality, longest game ever released so nobody should be upset about whatever they paid for it.

Is a proper dpad worth it for Hollow Knight? Might be the game that gets me to get off my ass and mess with my pro controller.

I actually found the Joy con controller shell thingie to be best. With the Pro controller I couldn't help but gravitate towards the analog stick... and then die horribly.

Has anyone here had anything delivered through Apple Express before? I ordered something from Amazon US and it was shipped through Landmark who then shipped it locally through Apple Express. It's been on the vehicle for delivery since 8am this morning, so I'm just trying to get a sense of how reliable this company is for timely deliveries.

Very cool to see this. Syd was a friend as well, and I was as shocked as anyone to hear of his sudden death. Every visit to the PC Museum was a magical trip through Willy Wonka's!

The 20th anniversary edition was the same price at $499 USD, it wasn't a Pro (didn't exist yet) and didn't have a 2TB HDD, this is more bang for the buck than the 20th anniversary one was.

Does anyone here have experience with buying refurbished from Newegg? There's a monitor I have my eye on, but I'm worried about the quality of it/dead pixels/bleeding on the screen. How's their return policy with refurbished monitors?
