If those are the only options, that's not good news at all. I want to be able to turn on/off each individual item. Not choose between "all/partial/nothing".
I think it'll be between 85-90 (certainly 80-90).
Based on what I've seen, I'd guess that the extra activities (and variety on offer),the open world (how lively and interesting it is), and the gameplay will bring it down overall, while the extreme level of polish and it being the best treatment of Spider-Man in a video game will raise the score.
I'd be surprised if it's greater than 90 but hopefully it's great and well worth a purchase.

Surprised trolls like you haven't been banned. It's going to be at least 99+ MC. This is THE Spider Man game of THE century.
Same day as DQXI release. Any positive press/buzz Dragon Quest will get will be absolutely drowned out by Spider-Man reviews/news. Oh well, Square did a crappy job marketing it in the West. I predict Spider-Man will score well high 80s to low 90s and is going to be absolutely huge sales wise for Sony.

Main reason being what others have said. It looks gorgeous and will be extremely polished, might even have amazing main missions but the actual open world side content seems extremely generic so far.

lol, I saw that. I even directly responded to him in that Reddit thread.
I hope one of the options is similar to God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn where it can be 100% invisible, but you can quickly bring it up for a few seconds by touching the touchpad.

Aye, he's been awesome on Era in general, but especially so as we've gotten nearer release.
And jstevenson I've never played a DQ game before, but I'm really interested in this one. I'll likely be picking up both, but I will no doubt be playing Spidey first.
As a former Destiny player, that whole week is going to be insane. And I'll finally get to play ZoE2. And then a week till Tomb Raider. Fuck I will be buying more (new) games in the next 3 months than I usually buy in a year.

Never played one either. But some other topic on here said that the battle system is reminiscent of FFX which just made my spider sense go crazy.

Wait James, so no option to manually and completely turn off the hud including the minimap?
I got some stuff showing up in my Google suggested news. Something about the new Funko Pop Spider-Man costume is a spoiler? Thankfully the thumbnail was so bad I couldn't see it. Anyone know how true/big of a spoiler it is? Its going to be really hard to avoid spoilers I think.

They do need to add some variety to the side content, I'm sure main story will be good, and not expecting a R* level of innovation in the genre (not fair really Rockstar has a lot more experience) but it should feel unique and different from all other open world games and of course have the quality to match other Sony WWS games. Horizon didn't do a lot new either and was excellent, but I'd say I want a bit more out of Spidey.

Yup. Just like 99% of open world games, I'm thinking it'll turn out like this.
Hopefully they sent CEs to the reviewers as well so we can see the statue before release and if my $226 will be wasted.
Reminder that the review embargos for Breath of the Wild and Odyssey dropped a day before those games came out.
The "earlier the reviews drop the better the game" thing isn't a rule, especially after a holiday weekend.
85. This looks rather derivative and is not going to get 90+ this late in gen. Arkham Knight topped out at 87 and i think this will score a little lower.

Rdr 2 is also proposing a lot more stuff in the open world through its new interaction system
So you can compliment an NPC that rides by on their horse, big deal. I need to see actual more in depth footage of these encounters to see whether they are anything worth being excited about.
I'm sure you got this question already but I'm curious. How are you guys handling the pressure? There's a lot of hype and expectations are through the roof for this game all around the web.
