Bruh so nice to see fellow Goth Money fans in here
Every video I've seen of Future doing anything live has been absolute garbage.

Goth Luv is a classic in my eyes
it's a tough metric. do i think Future is one of the best rappity rap rap rappers, a la Vince or Earl? no. do i think Future is one of the best singers, a la Frank or Beyonce? no. but i still generally enjoy Future more and hold his projects in higher regard than most of them.Damn maybe I'm just massively overrating Future but I think of him as a top 5ish rapper when he's actually releasing something and in full tour mode.
I managed to score 4 floor seats for the Astroworld tour so I'm pretty happy with today.
Young Thug was one of the worst I've seen live. Couldn't hear shit he was saying, song just played over his vocals, dj's yelling.Every video I've seen of Future doing anything live has been absolute garbage.
My dream is to get the version of "Feedback" Win Butler played at a DJ set.
Lol I saw Thug at a small venue right after Jeffery came on and he definitely used a backing track, but you could hear his vocals on "Riri" live alrightYoung Thug was one of the worst I've seen live. Couldn't hear shit he was saying, song just played over his vocals, dj's yelling.
got a link to a bootleg? My dream is to get the version of "Feedback" Win Butler played at a DJ set.
That shit was something straight off of Yeezus, some really abrasive shit.
This post just teleported me back to the epic GAF thread for TLOP pre-release/release/I'mafixwolves/re-release. That shit was crazy.
I haven't listened to that album in a while, I need to give it another run. I gotta find the file with the original tracks on it, the OG version of Feedback >>>
sure, why not
There's an American VO? I must have when into auto pilot and switched to Japanese lol. I hated the game BTW.

i'm listening to the album right now (hence me posting that line lol), and it just keeps on growing on me. at this point i'd probably put it at number 4 or 5, behind MBDTF (1st), The College Dropout (2nd), Yeezus (3rd) and Kids See Ghosts (4 or 5, interchangeable with TLOP i guess)

Nice list, Yeezus is up there. That album always sparks up a discussion lol. I'm not sure where I would place TLOP but it's up there. I was ready to buy tickets to the tour after my first couple listens. Plus Madlib is on there, sheeeieeeettt.
makes sense that Pusha and Ross with Kanye on the boards is the most expensive-sounding rap imaginable
Pusha know these politics is paradox

sophisticated ignorance, write my curses in cursive
All the footage from Butler's set has been scrubbed, but here's the link to the brief snippet I had.I had no idea about this, even more abrasive than the original version? Whew. Wish I could hear that. Maybe there's some bootleg footage somewhere.

Kanye's lyrical peak was 2008-2011 idc idc
AM I TOO COMPLEX FOR COMPLEXCON?
EVERYTHING YE SAY CAUSE A NEW DEBATE
"YOU SEE, HE BEEN OUT OF TOUCH, HE CANNOT RELATE
HIS HALLWAY TOO LONG, BITCH TOO BAD
GOTTA SURROGATE, HIS KID GET TWO DADS"
I BE THINKIN', "WHAT WOULD 2PAC DO?"
YOU BE THINKIN' WHAT NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK DO?
IF YOU AIN'T DRIVIN' WHILE BLACK, DO THEY STOP YOU?
WILL MAGA HATS LET ME SLIDE LIKE A DRIVE-THRU?

Granted, most of the abrasiveness comes from the compression, but I like the faster tempo and the delivery of the verse.
