didn't the game get a boost on kickstarter when they shown off a prototype switch version? I don't think they promised it, but still.

EDIT: nevermind, didn't make the KS goal. guess it's still possible in the future

This would not prevent that. Unties is owned by Sony Music Entertainment, which is separate from Sony Interactive Entertainment. They are publishing several other games on Switch.

For context, the game was already successfully kickstarted on Kickstarter earlier this year for PS4 and PC.

So this publishing deal is most likely just a marketing and distribution deal.

Dang I completely forgot this wasn't coming to Xbox and now I'm sad. I don't even remember if I checked PS4 or Steam in the Kickstarter.
Either way pretty cool for Sony Unties and White Owls
