Still needs that extra 1.5k for the inevitable dip on the 1st but yeeeey nonetheless. I hope they'll talk about it on the podcast aswell.

An update on some tiers would do wonders though. I still don't get how there's nothing between 60 and 200$.
As last month proved. Their dip isn't that severe (unless there's a high end tier payment issue). It's usually a $300-$500 dip

What do they do with all this candy and sweets that are sent to them. Surely they don't eat it all.

I'll hope you're right but last month they had a lot of payment from the month before that where on Patreon we had 52.5k and dipped like crazy. Anyway, we'll see i guess... i have no clue lol
Don't forget we had $2500 of weird non-payments. If you adjust for that, the dip wasn't that big. We also currently have $700 worth of corrected declines from last month that will be added to this month's earnings.

Damn that last frame trap made me got back to World of Warcraft. Bought a PC just for that lol

As someone who's came back to wow for the expac, i wish they spent an hour longer talking about it and their history with the game haha, i find it very interesting, especially as someone who's played since vanilla.

For those wondering:

Hmm, I have the Patreon-exclusive shows link in the Q&A after the OP (and a diff link to the Cup of Jones eps), but it's not particularly visible. I think I'll just embed that Tweet instead. Thanks for posting this!

Edited to add: done, and moved some other stuff around too.

Cool, I also put a link to the Cup of Jones guide within the other thread so it will be an easier place to point to.

Speaking of Ben, I just started listening to Frame Trap and he's fantastic (new to Easy Allies and I wasn't really familiar with anyone outside of Brandon). I find myself gravitating towards any content he's a part of.

He has a great, laid back presence on the mic and is really good at expressing himself when talking about a game. He's concise and gets his point across clearly, but is also able to expand on something further when prompted. Plus, it seems like he loves anime and JRPG's, so bonus points for that.

It was awesome hearing his impressions of Dragon Quest XI in the newest Frame Trap. Can't wait for the full review.

Welcome to the community! Yea Ben is great, he is the most articulate of the group and is great and easy to listen to talking about games. Podcasts and group streams I think are the best way to get familiar with the group. The most recent 9 episodes of Michael Huber's show "Huber Syndrome" actually is one on one conversations with Huber and every other ally, so I highly recommend watching those too to get a feel for the personalities of each ally.

Thanks, I'll check those out.

I should say also that Damiani and Huber were great to listen to as well on Frame Trap.

Yeah Huber is basically pure energy and hype, pretty much a kid in a candy store. Damiani is known as the troll of the group, also he is probably the most skilled gamer of the group and he also is a Nintendo encyclopedia as he is the big Nintendo fan of the group.

My favorite ally has to be Kyle Bosman who is IMO, the funniest ally with his quirky personality. He's also know for his "bits" which are basically jokes that are played on the other allies and viewers which he says or does with a straight face.

If you're into watching streams and playthroughs check out Easy Livin which was a 50 hour marathon stream event they just did at a beach house they rented. It's all up on their secondary Youtube channel "Easy Allies Plays"

Have fun exploring the world of EZA, they're great.

Welcome!

Yeah, Ben is a fantastic host and he is a good interviewer. He was already fun to listen to on GT, but he developed his style a lot since then and he really grew as a host on Frame Trap.
I love all Allies in their own way (they all have their own interesting style and their own quirks) and it's hard to pick favorites, but I do agree with everything you said about Ben. I really enjoy his style as well and if I do have to pick a favorite, he would be on the shortlist for sure.

thank you. Missed that. Still don't know why Brandon couldn't find a note (was written inside the box on the top) in my package but I was happy that Huber wanted that Jacket.

That was a nice gift. It was fantastic that Huber said earlier on stream that he wanted one. He looked stoked.

It's unfortunate that they missed your note. It's possible that Brandon just opened the box and folded over the flaps to get to the contents (not sure what kind of box it was).
It seems miss-able if you fold over the flaps and just look inside for a paper note. Especially with the distractions of being on stream in a room with 8 other people.

Do the Allies include money from Twitch subs when counting money for the month or are they only factoring from Patreon?

Ben and Frame Trap is what got me into Easy Allies at first.

Heard good word of mouth that Frame Trap was the best podcast going if you wanted to hear people just talk about their experiences playing video games. Listened to it and they were absolutely right.

Ben is so good!

That's not a Japanese toilet tho, it's just a squat toilet that you can find in lots of Asian and African countries in mostly rural parts or outside bigger cities. I've seen them in some countries in Europe too

Finished watching the EZ Livin' Metal Gear games. Still got ~36 hours left, although I already know at least two games I'll probably skip watching.

Same. Well, it was first seeing Brandon's reaction video to the Red Dead gameplay trailer the other week and that just reminded me that I needed to check out Easy Allies in general. And then I started listening to the podcasts and watching some other stuff.

I love Frame Trap because of how straightforward it is. Like you said, it's just people talking about their experiences with games and doesn't really have like the regular news segments and stuff that most other podcasts have (or at least the episodes I've heard don't).

Hey all - just a PSA - Yoku's Island Express is on sale today on the Switch eShop for $12. The Yoku stream from Easy Livin' was one of the best in my opinion and if you were interested in the game, now's the perfect time to grab it!

It's also on sale on PSN (at least in Europe, not sure about the US PSN store). I believe it was 9.99 euro.
I bought it a couple of days ago on there (I was waiting on a sale since release).

Edit:
It's not on sale on the Nintendo Store in Europe btw (or just in Belgium? not sure if the Nintendo store is continent based like PSN is).
