Any Huawei P20 pro owners out there?

I specifically said owners cause I'm not a fanboy like Apple and Samsung fanboys who feel the need to defend their corporation of choice. I'm in the states I imported a a P20 pro and it works just fine on AT&T. The main reason I got it is of course the amazing camera. I hate the notch. I hate the lack of a headphone jack but that camera is the best out on the market right now especially in lowlight. So where are the Huawei owners on era?

I'm a long time LG user. I really miss the wide angle camera, quad dac and headphone jack. I'm tempted to get a v35 the camera is better than the G6 and that was my previous phone but nighttime shots tho..

I got the Huawei 10 Mate Pro end of last year and really happy with it. First time I have used an Huawei phone so it left a good impression on me, plus they were not banned in Europe and rest of the world.

The only reason I'm never getting a Huawei phone is because of their aggresive ram management. It kills apps left and right. Why have a cellphone with 6 gigs of ram if you can't have apps on memory?

I had it on T-Mobile US.

Cracked the screen. Since it was eBay Purchase. Warranty is not valid in US.

None of the local stores can fix it in NY.

What a waste, but it was really awesome phone. Pictures were great.

I had to import my P20 pro off eBay as it's not available in the states. I usually turn off the AI and shoot in RAW then edit in Snapseed. I still prefer LG's camera interface though.

You can hide the notch at least.

What I don't understand is why does it sometimes take me the home screen without any visible apps? I can only see the background and I have to press the home button to take me to the actual home screen.

Also sometimes the screen doesn't register my touches at the edge of the screen. Very annoying when you need to edit a post or copy and paste text.

I've played with the idea because of the camera and larger screen (I'm currently on an S8), but decided to wait another gen to upgrade since I don't really *need* it. I'll probably get the next Pixel, or maybe a OnePlus if the camera is top-tier.

HTC and LG are other good options but who kniws how much longer they'll be aroubd, especially HTC.

Any hot tips on how to get rid of "Messenger is displaying over other apps"? That message is super annoying. Also had issues with a "this app is battery intensive" message, though I don't see to be having that problem right now.

I went for the p20 over the pro. Have no complaints other than my carrier is pretty slow with the updates coming through.
