Searched for a thread but couldn't find one.

Rocket Jump just launched the first episode of a new mini-series they are showing on their YouTube channel every Thursday. It stars ProZD who is famous for his short, 15 second, anime and gaming videos. The first episode is fantastic, the series will apparently only be 3 episodes long which is understandable as there is only so much humor you can derive from the references.

If you like or know anything about anime, or if you enjoyed ProZD's short videos, you will definitely enjoy this.

I feel like some of the individual moments are kind of funny, but it's only just okay overall.
The right to left manga reveal doesn't even make sense.

I think it embraced the cringe and humor well. Just saw it as it was popping up on my Twitter feed.

Anthony Burch wrote this, eh?

Well, it was OK. ProZD is a funny guy. If this is only going for three episodes, I can watch it all~

Glad they didn't try to make it a whole thing. This series would have burnt out pretty quickly if it tried to overstay it's welcome

Pretty well produced series.

Quite funny to me even though I've always considered myself a casual anime fan (besides a massive Gundam Fan). I got more of the references and in jokes than I was expecting.

Is Yamcha really one of the saddest deaths in anime? I mean maybe at the time it was surprising. But now it's more of a joke.

watching this episode, but forgot to mention the episode 2. Oh man, when I saw the title and the first minute it was a flashback to my dark times in the anime fandom lol

Even as a super diet casual anime fan this is just the right kind of stupid for me. It got a few sensible chuckles outta me.
