Yeah yeah I know, I jumped the gun sorry, but seeing as the Dark Souls series is so damn good I thought everyone owned the games.

All the new people, please buy Dark Souls.

Good for people who haven't played any of the games. Hopefully this means they'll be enhancing DS3 on Xbox.

I guess the question is why would someone suddenly be interested enough in Dark Souls to buy a trilogy pack? That's a crazy amount of souls for someone to jump into on a whim.
Heh, I have Bloodborne and DS1 on X360. I've always been hesitant to pick up DS2 and 3. This trilogy is perfect for me

Is DSR full price on Switch? I thought it was discounted somewhat?

Still kind a scum bag move considering DS was first announced in a Nintendo direct and now it's been delayed to the same date as the trilogy. Even if the trilogy is just a set or re-releases, way to overshadow your product...and in all honesty DSR on Switch has (and maybe still does) the highest potential for sales.

Sometimes these publishers....I swear

Watch this bundle be cheaper than the switch version
At the very least its going to be damn near the same price. We've seen this song and dance before. Just different companies doing every time it happens. It was BS move back when EA pulled it with Mass Effect and the Wii U and it'sa BS move now with Dark Souls.

Welp, I guess I will be buying this. I own all 3 complete versions of these games on Steam, but since I'm not playing much on my PC lately and I have finally evolved into my final form as a console only guy, buying this collection to replay all 3 games won't hurt.

I won't buy it on release though. Maybe December. I don't know.

DS1 on Switch is another "test" to see if there is an audience for such games on Switch, if we pass, then we'll get the trilogy down the road

I know it's a business and all that, and I probably don't think this is coming out to sink Switch. But I still think it's a bit tone deaf, they could've atleast waited until next year to release this. Now Switch will get the first game for $60 and the other two consoles will get all three games for the same price, released almost the same time.

I have them all on PC so I am not affected, but sometime it feels strange that publishers do this.

It's not.

People posted on a previous page the collection is $80. DS1 switch is $40.

As the games are all available, often VERY cheaply, I see no point in this - hope they didn't waste too much dev time with this...

Nintendo has the rights to announce the Remastered game. It launches on all systems in May barring the Switch which is delayed until October. Now a NEW release is coming with ALL three games for PS4 and XBO?

Reminds me of MH Generations Ultimate the same months as MHW PC....Japanese publishers really need to make sure that their is always a more fitting release before someone gets the game on Switch lol.

..lol

What?

MH Generations Ultimate is a completely different game from World, it is odd they are releasing the same month but i think both will have two different audiences.

Here you have a remaster of an already delayed port, while on the other hand "here's a better deal... for the other platforms coming the same day" (and possibly even cheaper).

I'm not going to pre-order it now, thanks Namco.

Same date as Switch's DS remastered?

Let me guess, let's price DS remastered switch at 39.99$ and on the same day release the trilogy for 79.99$ and see how the game fares on switch. If it's a flop, we stop support, right? EA's mass effect strategy.

Hahahahaha this is so annoying it just makes me laugh. What's the point? Would make so much more sense if this was on Switch (not port begging, just saying this is weird) but I guess they'll roll those out over the next couple of years. As it stands I just don't know who this is for.

$80 steelbook bundle, press release says it might be a limited print (ie: one run and done).

What a terrible day to launch it though. Are you trying to cannibalize your own sales?

If it's going to be the same price as Dark Souls alone on Switch it's going to be the Mass Effect situation all over again.

Heck, knowing how these things go it'll probably be on a sale for $20 Black Friday while the Switch DS1 only is $50/$60
While it does give ME Trilogy vs ME3 vibes, Switch DS1 is $40.
