Yes. Trailer says it's the "Fire fades" edition of DS3 which includes the DLC.
Heh, I have Bloodborne and DS1 on X360. I've always been hesitant to pick up DS2 and 3. This trilogy is perfect for me

One can argue that some Switch owners might have bought it or some want it portable.

Is DSR full price on Switch? I thought it was discounted somewhat?
Still kind a scum bag move considering DS was first announced in a Nintendo direct and now it's been delayed to the same date as the trilogy. Even if the trilogy is just a set or re-releases, way to overshadow your product...and in all honesty DSR on Switch has (and maybe still does) the highest potential for sales.

At the very least its going to be damn near the same price. We've seen this song and dance before. Just different companies doing every time it happens. It was BS move back when EA pulled it with Mass Effect and the Wii U and it'sa BS move now with Dark Souls.
Welp, I guess I will be buying this. I own all 3 complete versions of these games on Steam, but since I'm not playing much on my PC lately and I have finally evolved into my final form as a console only guy, buying this collection to replay all 3 games won't hurt.

I know it's a business and all that, and I probably don't think this is coming out to sink Switch. But I still think it's a bit tone deaf, they could've atleast waited until next year to release this. Now Switch will get the first game for $60 and the other two consoles will get all three games for the same price, released almost the same time.

This reminds me of the Mass Effect 3 situation at Wii U launch. It makes no sense.
Source for the Trilogy's price? It would be similar to the Naruto trilogy, then.

DS Remastered is 30 fps on Switch. I doubt it can run DS3 at all.

I remember that there was a rumour (Kotaku I believe?) that said that the three DS were going to be released on Switch as well.
It seems to just be the 3 disks in one case, so no dev time probably went into this.

MH Generations Ultimate is a completely different game from World, it is odd they are releasing the same month but i think both will have two different audiences.
Here you have a remaster of an already delayed port, while on the other hand "here's a better deal... for the other platforms coming the same day" (and possibly even cheaper).
I'm not going to pre-order it now, thanks Namco.

Yeah. They will probably release DS2 on switch next year tho. It doesn't seem that Bamco have any intention in letting that Dark Souls cow rest.

Slightly annoying that they've just released DS remastered standalone, for them to then release it as a collection only a few months later. Sigh.
Hahahahaha this is so annoying it just makes me laugh. What's the point? Would make so much more sense if this was on Switch (not port begging, just saying this is weird) but I guess they'll roll those out over the next couple of years. As it stands I just don't know who this is for.
And now I feel like I can justify getting DS1 on Switch.
I already have scholar of the 1st sin and base DSIII so 40 bucks more for DSIII dlc is a bit steep for me.
