Van Dijk is great but that's expected, I've been pretty impressed by Gomez though, and he seems like a good partner for Virgil. Not sure I want Klopp to change this defensive lineup right away.
Neither do I. Gomez is great but prone to mistakes because he's young, Lovren has no such excuse.

It's pretty clear the site has no interest in opinions being aired that fall outside of what the mods deem to be ok. I just looked at the bans on that first page and they're all fucking embarrassing. It's agree, or leave. There'll be no one left before long.

These are the basic stats that BBC etc often use, so looking at that we dominated the match right. We deserved to win and were unlucky not to according to those stats, yet if you go beyond that and factor in xG:

CDPR's twitter feed posted the Twitch chat favourite "did you just assume my gender?" line. Anyone who said it wasn't offensive got banned for transphobia.
Personally, the guy tweeting should've known it was a loaded comment and kept quiet... but the bans in response is quite something.
I think the LiS fanbase consists for a large part of BSN members. There is more ship related activity in those communities than in Sea of Thieves.
That's why I tend to just stay in a few threads, here and the eshop one is fine. The rest of the threads it's kinda crazy how little you need to do to get hit with a ban

It was originally created as a mocking retort to people who didn't identify as male/female... the whole "gender fluid" thing. Whether or not it still means that or if people using it these days know of it's origins, I don't know. Some things evolve and take on a life of their own. Some things get re-assigned.
People threatening to boycott Cyberpunk 2077 over this are funny, though.
By this point, the phrase isn't used by actual trans, it's now more of a dogwhistle used to mock trans taking themselves seriously.

Stats are a tool - people use them well and they can be informative, they can use them incorrectly and they're meaningless. There shouldn't be any push back about having a deeper understanding of the game via statistical analysis. I get that not everyone finds it interesting, that's fine, but they're not going away. Even MOTD shows xG now at the end of matches. People say football is too complex to model using stats but we predict and analyse way more complicated things than football in real life.
I like how you've managed to back up the stance that stats are a relevant part of appreciating the sport as a whole, and then supplied a clip that defies nearly all previous statistical information as to what would happen in any other circumstance had they reached the ball, simply because it's Naby Keita doing it.
Don't forget the extra 60 bucks for the Pro adapter champ, lol HTC prices are bonkers to say the least.

Like, sticking with the game theme thanks to the WASTED, but Naby glitches the fuck out to turn like that, the human body shouldn't be able to move from one trajectory to the other at that speed and composure. I saw this live, but it still looks impossible.

There is another behind closed doors demo at Gamescom and new public interviews but no signs of a new trailer or gameplay footage...yet. The thirst is real.

That's a possibility too, although I still think this will be a cross-gen game. I'd imagine it was an expensive game to make and they are not going to put it out exclusively on platforms with a tiny install base (PC aside).
