Recore is nice at the least, but there's definitely some better games I hope comes over. Sunset Overdrive, Rare Replay, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and the Crackdowns would all be great. There's probably some others, too. I wonder if any others will actually come, or if it'll just be these five

There's one thing similar between all these titles and the previously released Ms titles on steam - they're all from Xbone.

360BC games sadly won't come any soon. If ever - I could see Microsoft keeping it Ms store only. The moment Microsoft loses it grip over the emulator the next day an even better version which runs everything is out. Doubt they would want that.

"THQ Nordic announced that five great games of Microsoft Studios' portfolio will soon be available via Steam and THQ Nordic proudly presents the physical editions for these games."

It sounds like MS are pushing these games on Steam, they just let THQ Nordic do the retail version like Halo Wars 2.

Oh, I missed the important words :)

Do any of the European PC retail publishers still put games on discs or is it all just boxes with Steam codes?

No Forza. Still some good titles to see coming to steam.

Recore on not the Windows Store? I might bite.
I'm guessing Microsoft will get to see the numbers for these. Without exaggeration, I would guess even the smaller titles are likely to sell five times as many units on Steam, at the least. Maybe they'll get the hint.

I doubt it. Ori is literally the only Microsoft game on GOG.
Cuphead? Though that doesn't have the Microsoft Studios label, does it.

That's pretty awesome, hopefully this leads to more to come in the future (sunset please), I wont be getting them because gamepass is just to good to pass up but damn if I didn't already move to windows 10 this would be awesome. I hate windows 10 but now I need it for gamepass.

I've noticed that the games that weren't really a success for Microsoft have been released on Steam later. If so, this isn't working and they really need to focus on the console side first before delving into the PC.

Anyway, ReCore is a bit rough round the edges but I think everyone is in for a treat.

Will get ReCore when the price is right.

Lol at the rest of the games though. Blows my mind they put that kinda crap on PC but not Rare Replay or Sunset Overdrive or other things that people actually want to play.

If Xbox Game Pass is going to be on Windows 10, they will not be caring about the hint.

It's kind of funny that so many of you don't seem to realize that these games were always available on PC.
I would say a decent amount of people know it but the Windows 10 store has issues and people in general would like to stay away from it. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to uninstall the demo of recore from my PC. You can't uninstall it the "regular way" and there was no option in the Xbox App or in the Windows 10 store app either.

Pretty cool, but I got Recore for free thanks to a glitch when the definitive edition launched, so I won't be grabbing it on steam.

Right click on the icon, uninstall. Just like any steam game.

Or remove it from the control panel, again, just like any steam game.

THQ Nordic has been making the news constantly this year, big moves. Either way, glad to see more MS games moving from Windows 10 Store exclusivity. Breathe more life into these games that might be overlooked otherwise, Steam sales should give them a boost too.

Interesting picks. Not exactly the most well-known or well-received games. All are kinda in a G-PG range. Kinda like stuff THQ would have made back in the old days.

Wonder how THQ Nordic managed to get the deal.

If it's not already on PC, I doubt it's going to show up on Steam. I also wouldn't expect any of Microsoft's big first-party games (like Forza and Halo) on Steam. They're going to save their "killer apps" for the Windows Store.

So make the Windows Store better. IMO, that's a far better and constructive take away than just release all game on Steam.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of customers would prefer to just have the games on Steam.

Nah, far better and constructive is actually giving the consumers some choice.
The MS store is a disaster that will never be fixed at this point too, why the hell would you want stuff to be still locked to it

Everyone should get Recore. Whileit didn't set the critics on fire, I had a blast with it. Will probably even replay it once it releases on Steam.
