Ok, maybe I've worked on graphics too much, but some people saying that they can't see a difference is absolutely ludicrous to me.

I mean, I get being disappointed at the pricing (I'm not paying that for a 2080ti either), but not seeing the graphical leap to actually accurate penumbras and refraction? Seriously?
There are a lot of people that disable ambient occlusion or even shadows altogether if it's an option because they don't think it's worth the performance hit.
The tech is impressive, but the question is really how much of a performance hit there is for the RTX features, and how well these cards run traditional games. Those demos didn't look like they were running very well.

lol at showing 11 GB vram then showing the 1080 that has 8 GB.

and then saying from $499 with an image of the 2080 ti that costs $1200.
