I think PayPal charges now, or at least it did for me. That month or so will give me some time to get my affairs in order and list the Titan.

Announce the subscription to that service and we now have a PC pay to play subscription model that the console manufacturers would drool over. Pay for single player as well as online.

Didn't get to see the presentation, but the content sounds very off market. I feel like nVidia are making these cards because they view AI, Deep Learning l, etc as a more lucrative market. Talking all this Ray Tracing garbage is a way to make these cards sound like they are designed for gamers and not for other uses.
No, the chip for that more lucrative market is Volta.

Ray Tracing hardware is certainly dedicated to and designed for rendering, but at this point it's a hard sell for rendering games given the software situation.

Yikes at that price, I'll stick to my 1070. If the next round of cards is still outrageously overpriced like this, I'll stick to consoles. Hardware prices in PC just arent worth it to me anymore

How long would a 1080ti last if only used for 1080p + Ultra settings therettically? I might go shopping for a pre-built around Black Friday instead of building another PC in order to upgrade.

Honestly, this is all way above my pay grade technically and I am sure extremely interesting for some, but this conference so far as a gaming-oriented presentation has been horrendous. Add in those prices and NVIDIA has completely deflated any enthusiasm I had for these cards.
