Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle |OT| Gacha, Head Gacha

Looks like I'm stuck at level 28 of this EZA stage. Despite having LR Gogeta and PHY Gotenks, I just don't have enough good PHY units to beat this bastard considering how frequently he supers and how bad all of my secondary PHY units are at taking damage.

PHY is my worst element in terms of total number of good characters, does anyone have any advice for the latter part of this event? My team right now is LR Gogeta, PHY SSJ3 Gotenks, PHY SSJ1 Gotenks, PHY Super Vegito, INT Gogeta, and PHY Base Goku (the one with the 100% full-heal passive).

Yeah, I beat it with my Potara team, which only had Kefla as a PHY unit. Eventually switched out my TEQ Vegetto for AGL Super Vegetto, but I still had the TEQ LR Rosemasu, who took a lot of damage. Thankfully, the heals helped.

AGL Piccolo sounds awesome, holy shit.
Goku/Frieza will probably never reach their final stage anyway, considering how OP the meta is but 100% Crit is ridiculous.

This is my PHY selection. With the exception of the LR and SSJ3 Gotenks, I really don't have any units that can do much damage and none of them except SV have enough tank potential to keep me alive long enough for the LR to kill him.

dump the gotenks,can't seal broly anyway once u go high and he tank for a little bit and deal dmg

You should definitely not having any problems.
This was my team (arguably worse since I slapped on SSJ3 support Kidku and you have PHY SV), and I went 1-30 without dying once.



Checking out closely Dokkanfest SSJ Goku/FF Frieza they are not as broken as I thought because it takes 9 turns to reach their full potential and that's way too long. Also if their links change too much (ex. Goku getting SSJ3), they will wreck potential Category setups.
Still cool units.

The big problem is that SV can't do shit for damage, and he also can't tank supers well at all. His damage reduction passive only kicks in against regular attacks, so he's still taking 60,000 HP or so from a super...and Broly supers once every turn. And if he supers against ANYONE except the LRs that's nearly a quarter of my max HP gone in one hit, combined with all the other hits the non-LRs are soaking up.

Only the LRs, SSJ3 Gotenks and INT Gogeta can damage him to any reasonable amount, and only the LRs can take hits well.

You can try this.
Slap on as much as support units as you can and just let LR Gogeta carry you with the insane ATK boost, especially if your Gogeta has crit.

Unfortunately, my LR Gogeta is dupeless. I got one of the LRs on my very first summon during the anniversary and then never pulled another one for the entire rest of the event despite doing a shitload of pulls. All he's got is additional attack.

I still don't know how this shit will work link and category wise.
The only reason why I am interested in Goku is due to the fact he is AGL and I have no good Super AGL leaders.

The fact it takes so long to get final forms it makes them pointless. You rarely see Vegeta fushion or Gogeta due to how powerful you are

lvl 30 Broly EZA is doable with no dupes LR Gogeta. It took a few tries, but I took him down with this team

Saiyamam leader skill is also very good for a F2P , KI isn't that much of an issue nowadays if you pick right units.
I am not sure if I can do Family EZA as I lack Monster Tapion or new Turles, I do have AGL S17 duped so I will try that.

LR Goku and Freeza's leader skill got leaked:

3ki and 177% Hp attack and defence for "Representatives of Universe 7" or 90% TEQ lead

Highest Leader Skill but also a very restrictive.

Great LS, but I'm wondering if it'll be restricted to specific cards, or the whole Character range, including transforms?
If so, that's those characters, and it could mean some crazy teams :

I might save stones for future if the featured units are not great on banners.

Also there is something that Jiren is an EZA boss? Probably something like Broly.

Excellent. My Goku and Gohan are ready. Need to finish maxing my Goten, but he's close.

Same, got the three cards with a few dupes, so looking forward seeing what they can do after EZA.

At the very least you will get a lot of Stones orbs and some SSRs from the ticket banner. So I'm excited to see the SA and banners.

I started playing Dokkan right about when SSJ4 Goku dropped , so pretty much every F2P stone I used should translate to ticket.

LR Goku/Freeza have great stats but man that category is so damn small.

Any good category has a small number of units. See ssj3, fusions, potara and resurrected warriors.

This one's a bit different. Judging the leaked info it's basically saying something about it only being cards from the ToP that are from U7 so there's something much smaller here compared to those other categories. People are up in arms about it.

Meh people get in arms about everything. People will be bitching about units they pull with their tickets in about 2 weeks. No one besides the Namekian category has room to complain. 177% is a ridiculously high amount for all 3 stats, not just 2 stats and 1 130% that most category leads are doing nowadays. Thats not even to say what links Goku and Frieza Duo LR links will be.

If they get SSJ, FB, BBB and SS it will become a top tier card based on that alone and then we don't even have their passive leaked yet. This is just the leader skill.

Its not like you have to run him as a lead either and the unit can probably go on another category.

Yeah but you know how people are. If it's not optimal then they can't run it which I disagree with. We've all had to play this game with less than great units and somehow made our way through. At the same time most of the units needed for this haven't even hit global yet aside from what UI Goku so we'll see. With that said I guess we'll get a new Gohan, Roshi, Krillin and Tien in the future.

The game also is already so broken with some units... they had to add "categories" to find a way to solve this, but then made the same mistakes... so wishing for perfect units...

EDIT:
Also on new EZA... one of the mission is "increase to SA15", well... not thx. They don't even give enough kais to SA15 any of these three units that I will never use, so I won't waste any kai on them just to get back 1 kai...
Maybe when I will farm them to SA10... maybe... still don't worth it though...

Transformations are clutch. Rose can take like 200k damage on the first turn and it won't mattter because on the 2nd turn Tapion will transform and it's GG. Untransformed, Tapion does not benefit from Rose's leader skill obviously, but he still tanks like a boss. And as soon as he transforms he does, because Hildegarn is Extreme, and he supers for a million attack. GA Turles transforming is also good. And pretty much everyone on the team is a tank in some form or fashion due to type/category advantage or passives, except for Rose obviously. Very easy to do. You could also run Tapion as lead if you have him and just try to force the transformations with a friend Tapion lead as well.

It is done.



The new Saiyaman medals are the worst to get, you'll see why.

This Saiyaman thing is an unpleasant reminder of how shitty the drop rates for these medals are.
