Google reCaptcha v2 is the work of the devil

Agreed and I can't believe there aren't more complaints about it. On some sites I'll grt the green check only to have that site say it wasn't correct. Turns out you have to wait a few seconds for the site to get the memo.

And it seems to be getting worse especially on reclick ones. They almost always fail.

I don't have issues with these. They also barely show up.

You're annoyed because google is using your work without paying you, under the guise of 'making sure you're not an evil bot'.

So all the annoying things are features, not bugs. Your annoyance is the fuel that powers their Machine Learning algorithms. Your neurotransmitters are the blood that Google AI are sucking out of you, and when they've had enough, they will awaken and overthr--'[Error #54] Connection reset by peer'

Yeah, fuck those things. If the website I was going to isn't urgent (like my bank etc) they lose a visit (and a potential customer) and I never go back. Captcha = close the browser and play my guitar for a while.

All these captcha pics are just being used to help their road ai. You're basically giving them free work with these.

Thankfully there's Invisible Recaptcha now. I rarely have to do this crap nowadays.

You know what is the most awful part of reCaptcha - Google basically force people do free work for them. They use that data in their Google Image Search engine and Google Maps.

Yeah, the real reason for these is to make you train their AI for free.

Why isn't the OP clicking B2?

I bet V3 will make us decide whether someone doing a capcha is a bot or not. So maybe they can get V4 right.

Here's the thing... Its not failing. Its gathering your clicks. Unless you see a error pop up, you didnt fail. You were within the tollerance, and the data set is now being sent to their AI for training.

I thought this was me failing before as well, untill you realize having to go through multiple pictures is just their data collection process. Eventually they let you go.

So the key is speed. Just go through as fast as possible, because it will always ask for another data set or two. Get more than 50% right and it clears you.

I'm certain there's some machine training going on behind these ones. We're training our replacements! Irony! Robots! Violent uprisings!

And I think there's another hidden reason - to onboard new users. Sometimes it's nearly imposible to use google search while unlogged because of this captcha.
