Yeah... Yeah, that happened. Heartbreaking stuff, really, but reading that issue was arguably the best part of my birthday, lol.So I went to the Marvel Wiki as I usually do when I want to get caught up on Marvel characters and...
He turned into Agent Anti-Venom and then was killed by Red Goblin? Man what? :( I hope that isn't permanent.
Shut your mouth, the world needs a video game SpidercideSymbiotes are just fine. Stay away from alternate universes and clones (too late)
That looks terrible
You mean like how bugs don't get squashed when they fall from incredibly great heights?I've seen footage of Spidey not taking fall damage, but it's there also none when you nosedive from the Empire State Building and not shoot your web? I know it's not a sim, but that would go against all laws of physics and it's unexplainable. He would be squashed like a bug.
YepWait. There's a symbiote god...? Fuck. I didn't read the recent Venom stuff, so I'm out of the loop now. Latest I know is about the Klyntar when Flash went up to space and all that jazz.

You could do that in the older games but it could get pretty disorienting. If they keep the camera oriented in a reasonable position and have Spider-Man climb around stuff in varied ways rather than just sitting on top of them, it could feature what you mentionedSo in all the indoor sections I've seen Spidey perches on ledges like Batman in Arkham, but he's Spider-Man, why would he need ledges?
Basically what I'm asking is, can you stand on walls or ceilings indoors like you can in the open world?

Unfamiliar with the laws of physics? Spidey is not a bug, but an approximately 75 kg weighing human. Something with terminal velocity and the Newton law (which doesn't apply to bugs).
Huh?
That sounds when he shoots web is gonna get old real fast. Hope there is an option to either turn it off or lower the volume.

Why do you do this, Marvel? They should've stopped with the Guardians of the Galaxy stuff they did. From an uninformed perspective, this looks like it rolls back on that by giving the symbiotes some evil god. They're supposed to be a good, non-malevolent alien race. Jesus.Yep
Turnt me off right quick, I guess it seems to generic to me?
Its not Spidey without clones, no matter how bad the're handled lol
Welp, good luck. That sounds when he shoots web is gonna get old real fast. Hope there is an option to either turn it off or lower the volume.
Have we actually seen him land from a dive bomb? I wouldn't be too surprised if Insomniac made it so that Spidey will automatically create some webs to soften his landing or something of the sort, since their intention is for Spidey to appropriately not look like a fool given that he's been at this for eight years now.Nice gif, but it's just kinda funny he gets no damage from a divebomb from the Empire State building, yet he does from enemies punching or shooting him.
Why?That sounds when he shoots web is gonna get old real fast. Hope there is an option to either turn it off or lower the volume.

On the other hand, I'm excited for the Scarlet Spider suit power just for the clone commentary.
Welp, good luck.

Ah, that's what I was referring to by land. Hmm. I personally don't mind that, although I can see why some people would take issue with that.No we haven't. I did see swinging footage where R2 wasn't pressed and he just slammed on the ground (the pavement actually gets damaged) without any harm done. So we're assuming the height doesn't matter. Maybe jstevenson (can somebody explain how to tag people?) can shed some light on the matter?

As for tagging, just type in "@" and the username. It doesn't have to be the full username, just the first few letters and you'll see suggestions for it.
Oh, that's not gonna work if you just edit it into your post. They won't get the notification that way. Similar to quotes.Thanks. Tried that but I had to wait longer, I see. :-)
No it wouldn't be game breaking, but it wouldn't make sense also.
So tired of the MCU music meme. The soundtrack in the last few MCU films has been so good, Homecoming included. It's not the Elfman theme, but what is?Better soundtrack then Homecoming ! (MCU music is awful, so it's not hard). The game definitely seems inspired by Raimi Spiderman, even the colour tone seems symbolic of Spiderman 2. Same goes for the music, hints of Elfmans brilliant Spiderman theme.
God I haven't seen this page since the comic first came out

They've already discussed this at some length.Nice gif, but it's just kinda funny he gets no damage from a divebomb from the Empire State building, yet he does from enemies punching or shooting him.
Please enlighten us with your knowledge because I missed that part and apparently more people did.
They don't want Spider-Man to take fall damage because he's been doing it for 8 years, it was debated for a bit, but ultimately that's what they decided on.
I think it's the latter. He quickly slows his decentI know that, but what does that exactly mean when you nose dive from the Empire State Building or any other large building? Do you simply crash into the ground and walk away unharmed against all the laws of physics, or does Spidey shoot out a web automatically right before hitting the ground? I'm hoping for the latter.
What kind of Spider-Man fan doesn't love thwips? That sounds when he shoots web is gonna get old real fast. Hope there is an option to either turn it off or lower the volume.
Its safe to say I loved every second of that. Music seems surprisingly good too?

He's not going to shoot a web. He'll just roll out of it or land.I know that, but what does that exactly mean when you nose dive from the Empire State Building or any other large building? I think that aspect made me cancel my preorder, tbh. What's even the point

No point. Still hyped as hell. Just weird (and yeah, nitpicking) that Spidey survives crashing on the concrete at terminal velocity with no damage at all taken, while not being able to handle a few punches.
Is it a new flipbook logo, or the one used by the MCU?Yup. We also got to use the Marvel flipbook logo which hasn't been given to a game before
