clean kitchen, moderately messy everything else. I have little tolerance for bio garbage but everything else I probably wait longer than I should.

Pretty clean. I don't like clutter or unclean surfaces.
I had a part-time job on the side for a while several years ago where I went into people's homes. It's amazing how disgustingly filthy so many people live.

I have a 3 year old. I mean, we clean the kitchen as we mess it up (and we cook 99% of our meals). Vacuuming? We have cats, so we try to do it once a week, but it can (and mostly does) slip to 2. We try to clean up Star Wars / Kung Fu Panda figures when he goes to bed, but Llama Llama books and Star Wars books can sometimes get out of hand. Our room? We keep it clean, but we only make the bed when we change the sheets. You don't tie your shoes after you take them off, do you?

clean once a week including vacuum and dusting, bathrooms are once a week too. just have to build it into your regiment... we have a irobot-like auto vacuum that helps with our hardwood floors in middle of week.

I try and keep it as clean as I can, especially if I have people coming round. I do get a bit judgey if I go round someone's house and it's not clean.

I am 100% neurotic about cleaning. I keep my house cleaner than a hotel room after the maid service leaves. All beds are made before anyone goes to work or before kids go to school. Making your bed in the morning is a good, easy goal to accomplish and encourages you to accomplish more goals throughout the day.

Every day I come home to an immaculate house, a crisp made bed, and it feels like vacation 7 days a week. All for less than 10 minutes a day basically.

This

I love everything being clean, smelling fresh and all my things being neat and organized.

Extremely, extremely clean. My place is my sanctuary from the outside world. The only real mess is in what I refer to as my "closet from Hell." It's just filled with tons of old clothes, blankets, miscellaneous stuff that's not full on junk, but not really used.

Otherwise, I keep the place clean, simple, and modern.

My roommate is a hoarder of clutter, and I am a person who likes empty countertops. So my desk is clean but if there's a table in our apartment I have to be vigilant or it will end up as another place to keep stuff that she never uses or looks at.

I always aim to vacuum and mop once a week. Sometimes, I'll need to vacuum once more because of a German Shedder. I do have a little clutter in one room, it's all paperwork that I have been needing to shred. I just keep putting it off. I aim to keep things minimalistic in my home, it's less to dust and less clutter like. Dishwasher runs about every other day, and I do laundry once a week. Sometimes it gets overwhelming, especially since I just moved to a bigger place and I'm not used to have 3x the space to clean. But I'm finally getting a schedule down.

Kitchen needs to be clean at least and although I would like to keep the rest of the house clean it's tough with two young children. As long as the living room doesn't have shit all over the floors I'm okay.

The most annoying thing is everyone including my wife leave garbage all over the place. It drives me up the wall.

Before I got married I was the slobbiest shit ever.

Now that I'm married its like Camerons home in Ferris Bueller.

I change our sheets weekly. I sweep the floors nightly. My wife washes clothes every other day.
Dishes I do but I could never stand dirty dishes. I take out the trash almost nightly.

When I was a bachelor I had shit all over the floor cluttered. But a pristine sink.

Its exhausting for a slob but I recognize how much better my life is now.

More or less pristine whenever someone visits but don't mind a large couch pillow on the carpet with some jeans thrown on top whenever I'm just chilling at home alone. It never takes me more than 10 minutes to clean up at worst, so I still keep it pretty clean regardless.

I'm no neat freak by any means. But I'm also not a turbo slob. I have one roomate that lives in a clothes dumpster and the other one who is fairly organized and clean.
With that being said at least when it comes to my space (my room.) at worst the trashcan is almost full and I have a couple clothes here and there lying around. But you aren't going to walk in at any point and wonder 'Damn bitch you live like this?'

I honestly don't get people that live like that.

My 2 daughters (ages 9&11) make cleaning a breeze. They wash/dry/fold all he laundry, do dishes nightly, clean the bathrooms once a week, and vacuum/dust once a week. The wife makes all our meals, does the grocery shopping, and changes the bedding. Once a month-ish we all do a deep clean together.

I take out the trash as needed and mow the lawn once every 10 days or so.

Places
We keep things pretty tidy and do our own dishes and laundry. But the real cleaning is a monthly cleaning service. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surfaces, etc.

OP sums it up for me pretty closely, dog hair especially but we restrict our pet to the downstairs only. I want to hire a cleaner for a once a week or fortnightly visit, wifey isn't on board with that just yet. Our kids are generally pretty good weekdays/school days but we all take a breather on the weekend TBH.

We keep it pretty picked up for the most part, mainly because we have housekeepers come through every other week and need stuff out of their way. Two kids two demanding careers and a messy cat, so it's a challenge to keep on top of things.

I'm usually pretty tidy but with just how much I've been working lately I've let things get way too messy.

I clean up everyday. I can't stand shit lying around or dirty dishes in the sink, on the stove.

Not as clean as I would like, but I have other things that need to get done. The man thing is that I always leave it tidy. Nothing worse than coming home to a messy environment.
