The health system means absolutely nothing when the health packs are handed out like crazy (even on veteran). And my issue with the squad aspect is that, you always have to move out of cover to get whatever it is from them. Because in the end they throw what you were asking for anyways, lol.
In my opinion, they brought the campaign back in time when considering the amazing job Infinity Ward did last year and do not get enough praise for it.

I think USS Texas is the worst map ever. It's extremely linear with so many open spots to get picked off from.
I dont think I've noticed any of the bonus bullshit in game. I dont use a clan tag like TITS or whatever because i'm not 12, the kill counter is nigh on invisible, you barely see these pistol grip camos on the rare times you're bothering with a pistol (youre too busy trying to kill someone with a damn pistol). The grips dont tell you what theyre for, the uniforms are hidden in the terrible menu and are tied to divisions you dont use, and even then theyre just slightly different war clothes.
I honestly think WW2 is the unwitting future of loot boxes, the contents could literally not be any worse. I know we should have realism but 3 years ago we had gingerbread people running around....give me a pencil skirted, lines up the back of her stockings war heroine, a wartime theatre drag act outfit for the men, a Baldrick or Melchitt outfit...anything. Make it interesting, because no one is paying for COD points to unlock a slightly different wax jacket.
Ghosts had some extremely bad maps. I have no idea what the hell they were thinking when they made maps like Whiteout, Stormfront, Siege, Overlord and of course Stonehaven. Mention any of those names while I'm asleep and I'll probably wake up screaming.

Convince everyone that boost jumping was bad, then hand the reigns to making a BOTG game to the only CoD dev who hasn't made a BOTG CoD before.
I feel like if the servers were consistent and there was more maps I wouldn't have anything to complain about. Both are huge issues though so I dunno how to feel overall, and I'm not confident on them being able to fix these things either. I ain't paying the price of the game for some DLC maps, especially when a good chunk will be zombies/war which I don't really play.

Release it with only 9 multiplayer maps. That was honestly the reason I haven't jumped on this. The server issues will get fixed and I don't care about Headquarters stuff, but I don't want to have to buy DLC for map variety.
After playing this game quite solidly for week now...and it's average at best. I dont know if the servers are still shit or what, but every gunfight is an RNG gunfight. It is as bad as Destiny. Sometimes I die, sometimes I don't..inconsistently. Sometimes the shots register, sometimes they don't.

I'm yet to play Infinite Warefare so I cannot comment there. But I disagree with your dismissal of the squad and health mechanic. It adds a nuance to the gameplay. Application, positioning and replenishment needs to be managed manually. Over the last decade it was the most basic of basic cool down's, duck, put the controller down, make a sandwich, resume.
I am loving war mode.
I have barely touched any other MP mode as it was simply too frustrating, but war mode is fantastic. Just a shame there's only three maps, hopefully with the season pass we get the usual amount of zombie maps, MP maps and a war map.

The game is strange on PC. V-Sync doesn't seem to work for me. I like to have V-Sync on for SP. Doesn't work in game or forced through Nivida Control Panel. Haven't tried the other tools yet.
I've seen a huge drop in people playing this game on my 112 friend list (ps4) which is really surprising as its only been 2 weeks. I really think with the lag and bug issues and only 9 maps, people are burning out on this cod much sooner
I know this game has been given quite a lot of shit for the whole Social Score thing, but you can't deny that the rewards can be pretty good. At level 18 you get a massive 15,000 Armory Credits apparently

I'm pretty sure your social score increases by just playing, although extremely slowly. When they made the HQ a solo experience my Social level was 3, now it's 6. You can also still invite/join your friends and do stuff in the HQ with others that way.
The lag and the party bugs are killing me. I bought the game at release and I have yet to Prestige.
Every encounter there some weird ass stutter, playing on pc, i7 4790K, GTX 1080; 16GB ram, 1440p Gsync 144hz, game installed on an ssd. What is going on with this fucking game?! it's infuriating and can't even ask for a refund since I bought it on cdkeys.

Wait, I got 100hours in this game and my shit is at 7 or 8 I believe. And the HQ's have been working since day one on the PC. WTF do I have to do? I do the dailys that I care about and some other stuff, but man. what the fuck you need to do. I need to look this up.
lol i didnt even remember that social score was a thing. the one commendation i got was the one friend i occasionally play with.

I'm pretty sure that's the only thing they're for, but if you're hesitant you could hold onto them until they add more collections. I've completed a few of them, mostly because I got the most expensive items in supply drops.
I'm grinding to get the Type 100 variant. It looks so pretty.
Do stuff with other people in the HQ. Commend them, watch them open Supply Drops, have people watch you opening Supply Drops and play 1v1s. All that should improve it, although you're not guaranteed any XP every time you do one of those things
You can use them to purchase Contracts, but I wouldn't recommend that because they're hard as shit or extremely expensive. I would just save them up until Sledgehammer inevitably adds stuff like new camouflages, helmets and guns.
It is absolutely out of control in this game. And it's so easy to do with all the tutorials. It's really frustrating. Combined with the fact that flinch is almost non-existent really sucks, you can spray on someone and they just quick scope you.
this is exactly how I have felt i live a couple states away from 3 server farm locaitons apprently so the amount of p2p connections i seem to be getting is absurd.
TheMarkOfJ, an elite pub player, theorized that players camp hard because they're too scared to move. Too many angles to cover and control when you do move through these maps, so why not turtle up instead?
I think I agree with him, with London Docks and Flak Tower as the best examples of "too many angles."
Save your credits until DLC weapons are introduced. Modern Warfare Remastered had a similar system where once DLC weapons were introduced, you could acquire them through completing a collection without having to buy boxes.
