They fucked up an interesting story arc for him in season 4 (?), where it looked like he could be the next Mike. He became so annyoing in the end I didn't give a shit what happened to him.

Still calling Walt "Mister White" despite being out of high school for several years now

Like seriously, what kind of moron would do that. That always bothered me when I watched the show.

When did he learn Walter's first name? My mom works in a middle school and even when they're not in school and just hanging, even with teachers who have retired, they still address each other by Mr/Mrs [Last Name] because it's just habit after doing it for years and years (teachers and staff don't use first names around students)

Walt talked Jessie into having the crew expand. Probably most of "Jessie's screw-up can be drawn back to Walt in some way

With enough goal post moving and mental gymnastics, sure, a few might, but most of the ones I listed are in direct conflict with Walt's(and/or Jesse's own) interests. And with several, Walt explicitly told Jesse not the do the dumb thing he was planning.

There's plenty of blame to place at Walt's feet. No need to pretend all of Jesse's screw ups are magically on him too.

He was an older authority figure I'm not sure what's weird about it. If I ran into an old teacher I wouldn't call them by their first name.

I personally would still address good teachers that I had with "Mr/Mrs __" especially ones from grade school.

Don't see what would be so weird about that

Obviously Jesse is a fuck up. My thing is Jesse never should or would have been that deep in the game if not for Walt.

I don't disagree with most of your list as much as I think Jesse was a punk kid trying to live the life of a high level dealer mainly due to Walt

It's been awhile since I've watched it but I seem to specifically remember Walt talking Jesse into expanding into new territory

Something I think about a lot is how the show really blazes past the "good times" that they have just making shitloads of money using the fumigation tent cover. They montage through it and it makes it so you can kind of forget that there was a long stretch there where the machine was running smoothly.

Fuck Jesse.

Went from being an immature selfish meth-head prick in the early seasons into a dumbass crybaby whining and literally crying about every little thing that didn't go his way.

This guy literally ruined the lives of everyone who got involved with him.

I gotta give it to Aaron Paul. He played being a dumbass so well that I hate him as an actor too since he will always be typecast for me.

Yeah man, can you believe his best friend and mentor let his girlfriend choke on her own vomit and then he CRIED about it? Like seriously, he even tried to set the guy's house on fire.

I mean, the ultimate example of how much of a little kid he was is when the neo-nazis kept him locked up in a cage for 3 months and he barely kept it together. What a whiny kid.

Not letting Gus kill Walt. I understand why he did it-he hated himself after killing Gale and didn't want to be involved with any more death, especially for his former mentor. But his girlfriend and a child would still be alive if he just let Walt die.

Trying to kill those gang members who killed a kid, forcing Walt to save his ass.

Attempting to trap Walt along with Hank, if he'd left things alone Hank and his partner would be alive and he wouldn't have been taken.

All this. This was also just some contrived as fuck writing, one of the reasons BCS Seasons 1-3 are better than BB Seasons 1-3.

It's his own damn fault for doing heroin with her. If anything he's the one that murdered her. Walt had no business saving the life of a stranger who was blackmailing him and basically threatening his livelihood.

Funny how he could've avoided the whole neonazi thing by not trying to burn a guys house down, snitching to the DEA, getting Hank/gomey killed, etc etc.

And Walt STILL saved his life yet again

Should've let him rot

And lol at you picking the two most extreme cases when he's literally crying every episode about something.

There was a clear division of labor. Walt is in charge of the cook, Jesse runs the street business. Yes Walt did urge him to move more product but he didn't tell him where/how to expand.

Jesse was already in deep before he met Walt. Remember was Krazy 8 was revealed to be a DEA informant. It's debatable if Walt would have actually turned him, but it's not debatable that Jesse either dies or goes to federal prison if he had stayed in business with Krazy and Emilio

Also Walt was out, legitimately out, from late in S2 all the way until about halfway through S3. Jesse was the one pressuring him to cook(and Saul and Gus) and even went so far as to cook Blue on his own.

I will concede that later in the series Walt was maliciously manipulating him, in part , to keep him in the game/under his thumb.
