And how did you come across it? Did you seek it out or did it fall into your lap? If you sought it out and paid a lot of money for it, why? Is it just another game in your collection or is it the crown jewel or your collection?

For me it's a game I don't even like very much from a series I'm lukewarm on. I have a mint copy of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon for the GameCube and DS. I bought both games when they came out with the hopes that they'd be the ones that shifted the series forward in a direction I wanted at the time (Echoes eventually did this, but I was over Fire Emblem at this point). They've followed me around ever since and both games are essentially minty fresh out of their cellophane.

I hope to play them one day but I don't know that I'll ever get around to it with my ever growing backlog. I don't have a GameCube anymore and I'm afraid the Wii disk tray will chew it up.

Seller was selling it for $50 on Amazon because he wasn't sure if the game worked or not since it didn't have a system to test it. Bought it for about 1/3 the price.

I'm not sure. I have Pokemon Yellow sealed and Final Fantasy IX (original label) sealed. Probably those? I also have some other sealed stuff, like the original Final Fantasy XIV PC release collector's edition, a bunch of Digimon PS1 games, etc.

I have a good condition copy of Path of Radiance, also Radiant Dawn.

I have a copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day. Have the manual but not the box. Those 3 are probably my most valuable.

I spent $200 USD on the Diablo 3 Collector's Edition, and then $60 on a digital edition so I didn't have to wait.

Somewhere deep in space
It used to be Panzer Dragoon Saga until I sold it for rent money in college D: Now? I don't own barely any physical copies, especially since my ex boyfriend made off with most that shit. I used to have a black label FF tactics and suikoden 2! :(

If you have sealed stuff, did you buy it to collect or did you just forget about it after buying when it came out?

Either Valkyrie Profile or Tales of Destiny II (Eternia), both on PS1. I got them for $150 apiece.

Have a copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day too, but dunno how much it sells for. Got that sucker for $30 like ten years ago, and the guy gave me a discount because I didn't have enough money too.

Is WarioWare Twisted rare at all? That and Dragon Warrior 7 are the only old games I have anymore that might be worth something.

Black label FF VII? I dunno. I have the WC III Collector's Edition. I don't really own any super rare stuff.

-a mint CIB copy of EVO
-the Ecco the Dolphin CE from Europe with everything still sealed inside (once owned by the creator of the game).

I just bought a sealed copy of Konami MSX collection on Saturn for $32. I'll probably flip it, as the only other copy sealed is on ebay for $200 (plus I'm not a sealed collector ).

Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition, never played it as I got bum out of all the localization changes Treehouse did to the game.

The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition Is my most valuable physical game I own even though it looks like its not as valuable as it was all those years ago.

Also my gamecube Twilight Princess copy. Those are hard to come by as well.

Believe it's the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition. Ordered it at Best Buy for $64 thanks to GCU, and got an additional $20 credit when they failed to ship it on time. I think it's now worth $200 or so.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are getting up there too now.

Complete version of fire emblem fates with all of the stuff on 1 cart. When I looked up the price a few years ago it was a couple hundred for it

I only have two games of any real value, panzer dragoon saga and the symphony of the night limited edition, i also have a weird pre release of final fantasy 7 with unmarked discs, i have no idea if it is worth anything.

The most expensive game I bought is NieR: Automata Black Box Edition. It was only available from the Square-Enix store so I had to pay stupid expensive shipping to get it to Sweden too, it ended at 2300kr or so, about $250 USD.

As for the most rare and expensive, I don't know. The European versions of Suikoden 1 and 2 are pretty rare and expensive on Ebay, so that might be it. Even if they are dirt cheap on the EU PS Store for PSP, PS3 and Vita.

It's either Final Fight 1 on SNES sealed or Tiny toons Bab's Big Break on Game Boy sealed. I'm not sure which one is more valuable. FF SNES slightly damaged though. My uncle always bought the games I already own for birthday present.

Probably FE Fates Special Edition or one of the FE games on GC/Wii.

Or one of the amiibo, if they've seen any price spikes.

I would say probably the PS3 The Last of Us Post Pandemic Edition. Last I checked just the statue was going for between 300-500 on eBay.

PS2- Rule of Rose. Got it in a Gamestop Buy 2, Get 1 when they were trying to get rid of all their PS2 and Xbox stock. Was priced at $16. I remember one of the other games I picked up with it was No One Lives Forever.

NES- Duck Tales 2, bought in a HUGE lot of games from a college friend for $600.

SNES- R-Type III, bought at a garage sale for $10 last summer.

N64- CIB Conker's Bad Fur Day in damn near mint condition. Still has the cellophane on the box, it's just sliced on one edge to open the box.

Master System- CIB Power Strike. I also have Sonic the Hedgehog but I don't think it's the rarer (and much more valuable) US version.

Saturn- Guardian Heroes. Always wanted to play it since seeing it in Diehard Gamefan magazine back in the mid-90's. Broke down and bought a nice copy during one of Ebay's 20% off anything promos.

Jealous of that minty Fire Emblem, OP. My most valuable Gamecube disc is probably the Gameboy Player disc.

I guess rarest is the Bioshock Xbox 360 collectors edition. Never removed the big daddy from the box either. I have the collectors for 2 and Infinite as well.

US = Gotcha Force. Got a copy for $10 a few years ago at my local used game store, even had the manual. Learned years later that sucker is $100+ complete.

Japanese = beatmania IIDX 16th Style Empress + Premium Best. A PS2 rhythm game that came out only in Japan THREE YEARS after the PS3 was launched, plus the last home beatmania game Konami released, let alone the last PS2 game they released. Goes for $200+ for both discs + box + manual.

Strategy First's Steam release of Infected: The Twin Vaccine. It was pulled from sale after literally just 10 minutes as MumboJumbo was already selling the Collector's Edition.
