Nintendo.com's Virtual Console games section has been broken for a couple of days now

What could this mean, Era? Is it just website issues, or is it a hint that we're getting more information on the NES games from Switch's online service?
Edit: This is just happening to me on all of my devices. Please lock this thread.
Edit 2: This is happening to a few others, I guess? I don't know what to think.

under the menu where the break is in your image, I've got Mario riding Yoshi on a green background and a list of games

Remove ".com" from the thread title, change "days" to "years".

It's not displaying for me either, neither on Chrome nor on Firefox. So, at least you are not quite alone, OP.

Edit: Not loading on my Phone (Safari), either. Funny, wonder what's causing the issue for some of us.

I have had simialr issues, stuff where sites hosted on Amazon servers would run 10 times slower than other sites, but noting that removed stuff completely. Removing stuff on a specific page when others on the same site are not effected is even stranger.

It's not working for me. I'm going to choose to believe this means they're updating the section in the background ahead of the big reveal for Switch VC since the alternative is too depressing.

I've tried three different web browsers on my machine running Windows 10 (Chrome, Firefox, and Edge), three different web browsers on my iPhone SE (Safari, Chrome, and Firefox), and three different web browsers on my MacBook Air mid-2013 on the latest version of High Sierra (Safari, Chrome, and Firefox). It's not my web browsers or any content blockers.

interesting, works on chrome desktop but not mobile (android)

managed to temporarily break it somehow by fiddling with turning my ad blocker on and off on the page, but it fixed itself after a refresh

guessing it's just buggy nonsense somewhere

It's likely an error and will be back to normal soon but it doesn't matter Virtual Console is gone and replaced with their shitty online system where they'll drip feed NES games over the Switch's life making this generation the worst yet for retro Nintendo titles on the system that would've allowed you to take them anywhere. A shame that Nintendo loves their anti-consumer tactics.

Nintendo's webstore breaks all of the time. It's more indicative that they need to overhaul the site than anything conspiratorial.

There's already a system with a huge Virtual Console selection that you can take anywhere. It's called the 3DS.
