So uh... is Bryan Cranston voicing J. Jonah Jameson in Insomniac's Spider-Man?

Kind of feel like if it were him they would have been shouting it from the rooftops. That's sort of the point of hiring a high profile (and probably expensive) actor for a part like this.

And after listening it sounds nothing like him.

Sounds a bit similar to his Hal voice in Malcolm in the Middle, but I feel like they would have announced it ages ago if it were him.

I don't hear it at all. I'd be surprised if it was him.

The pronunciation of the words is similar to Bryan Cranston. But the voice is completely different.

Definitely JB Blanc. I'd recognize that gravelly Dojima sound anywhere.

Would be a good casting for a live-action movie. Doesn't sound at all like him to me though

I'm in a quiet area at work so I can't replay it to point out some choice quotes but it's definitely there in the more raspy lines. Good Cranston but not Cranston soundalike if nothing else.

That "Disgraceful!" and similar lines are Cranston meets Lewis Black meets Colonel Campbell (MGS) lol. Could just be my phone speaker though.

Sounds like Jake Weber - he played a similar role in the last seasons of Homeland.

I don't see what his current career has to do with it. He probably doesn't have a shortage of work offers of course so time is an issue i imagine

He did Power Rangers recently and that movie was fucking gutter trash. And I say that with no hyperbole. I have a very high tolerance for movies people consider shit, and I'm almost always saying they were at least okay. I truly believed the Power Rangers movie was gonna be decent, even good. But no, it's truly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

He was also in the Godzilla reboot and that movie was also pretty much trash. I can't believe a large portion of people actually like it.

So I don't see why he'd turn down a videogame role just cuz.

There's definitely a similarity, but I'd wager it's more someone doing their best Bryan Cranston doing his best JK Simmons as JJJ.
