Rumor: New Super Mario Bros. U is headed to Nintendo Switch, possibly this year.

Eugh I don't know why but i'm still so bored of those games, this is the type of game that you want though for families this holiday so it's a great choice.

This is my thinking. Still waiting on Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Not finishing TMS is my greatest regret, and it makes me truly hate myself for selling my Wii U.

Yes I want this game too. Heard so many great things about it and with Fire Emblem and SMT coming (probably) next year on Switch, it would make sense.

Watch it sell over 5 million copies.

I will laugh when they announce this in a Mini Direct with a $60 price tag

They still have to announced their 3rd party games for November so be careful. And no Tales of Vesperia seems suspicious given you apparent tastes.

Despite me really liking the game, this is the one where they'd have to be adding some cool extras to warrant me going back.

Here's a start, a new soundtrack to replace those reused NSMB Wii themes, it wont happen but damn it you got Mahito Yokota of Galaxy goodness to whip up a new main theme but basically nothing else? what a waste!

Now let's move onto Mario Maker 2 sharpish

This game should REALLY be remastered with all new art / music.

Mario's name is on it so it will be 60. I think it was a travesty that Nintendo was selling tennis at full price and got a pass

Not that desperate for ports myself either but Paper Mario Thousand Year Door though just so I don't have to pay a fortune for it.

Can't wait to not buy this one.

The map of NSMBU is definitely not as good as Super Mario World, especially with secrets.

Count me in on the "will pickup if not $60" camp

I enjoyed the Wii game, didn't finish the WiiU one.

Nintendo is serious about porting every WiiU exclusives... or at least the good ones (Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, .etc)

100% meh for this one so far.

New content is probably a new Amiibo or an even easier mode like tropical Freeze.

Not a game I'd buy a second time. It was good though. If you havent played it on wii u then its a good one to grab for switch.

I will pay full price for TMS on Switch as long as its uncensored.

Don't know if I'd buy it, but I'd put it on a Christmas wish list.

I miss the old Nintendo were you could get 4 extra Zelda games with the new Zelda. Now you pay full price or more for old ports. Crazy how Nintendo still got this much fans..

After this pretty much all Switch is missing is 3D World and the Zelda remasters. Mario Maker too but there's no point in that when Mario Maker 2 is on the way.

I really do not see the point in this. Just pull a Smash 4/Ultimate and use existing resources to make a follow-up. A new game but not exactly from the ground up.

It's a good game. Nintendo can still fuck off with NSMB's entire audiovisual aesthetic at this point.

Hopefully we can get an all new Mario sidescroller with a new art style. I'm definitely over the NSMB aesthetic and I got my fill on Wii U. I'm sure it will sell well though.

NSMBU + Luigi expansion is the best 2D Mario. It will be fun going back the multiplayer and challenge modes. Also, they should make a bundle with it. Perfect game to play 2P co-op out of the box.

What a bad game, and the worst NSMB along with 2.

All the salty tears in here....Many of us never owned a Wii U and will gladly buy this for full price, just like DK Tropical Freeze. I say bring it on, and Mario 3D World too!!
