California can solo multiple Canadas at once.

The Americans of the time tried the exact same thing, lost, and had the white house burned.

Well probably lots of reasons. The UK was vastly more powerful than us until the mid 1800s. If there was political will behind a war, the UK would have crushed us. Remember that the revolutionary war was mostly the Kings thing and was unpopular with the public. Also the US had lots of Tories and relatives in Canada. By the time the US was more powerful than the UK we were allies.
