YES! Glad somebody else mentioned it, Epyon was always my favorite from Wing when I watched it as a kid. I even had the model of it.
I always felt bad that Epyon was kind of a stepping stone in the storyline because it's so darn COOL. I mean it has a whip.
Look at the size of that thing. Snake is a legend for bringing it down
I love a ton of stuff, from Macross to Gundam, but I will always have a weakness for the good old Go Nagai.

Yes, Mazinger Z for the win. I remember back in the day when the first SOC was coming out, how excited I was to buy it.
I also have a soft spot for Reideen, mainly because it was one of the first toys I had (the transforming diecast one). And those Jumbo Machinders.
Also because of the toys, all the Diaclone robots, but especially Robot Base.
As far as Gundam goes, I always liked the Ex-S from Sentinel from the time the original model kits came out.

If you're into that stuff Sentinel is releasing a high quality figure of Gravion this month. Pretty pricey but it looks So cool.
Can't comment on the cannon you refer to, but I assure you the cathedral is very much in function and veneration of the holy Emperor of Man is in session. For your inquiry about the footing of His loyal suspects I assure you the holy God Machine the place of worship stands on is as steady as Holy Terra itself and even then the Emperor protects His loyal servants from danger.

I came here with the intention of mentioning the original Gundam, but this has taken the cake! That looks awesome!
I love this thing. It's upgraded version uses engines built for flight just to stand up straight and it has a sick ultimate attack and an even better double attack. The whole idea of a real robot being built to copy super robots is also cool.
Alteisen from the Super Robot War OG series is another favorite of mine. In a universe full of absolute nightmares (Hello Neo Granzon!), I still find myself drawn to this beautiful mess. Who needs gravity cannons and black holes when you have a revolver stake?

Is this from Macross Plus? I need to actually watch it. I've only watched like 95% of Frontier then didn't finish
VF/YF-19, from Macross.
The white one's from Macross Plus; the red one's from Macross 7. I thought Plus had some fantastic action scenes, great animation, good music and - obviously - fantastic mech design... But aspects of the plot/some characters' relationships really bothered me, honestly. Still worth a watch, but I'll throw in an actual trigger warning for depictions of sexual assault.
Now, Macross 7 is my all time favourite Macross show, and the thing that got me into the franchise... But it's also suuuuper divisive, and even I can see why some people really don't like it.
Voltron: Legendary Defender's the only mecha show I've watched more than an episode of, so this by default.
A lot of my favorites have been listed (Scopedog, Valkyrie, Crossbone Gundam, etc.) so I'll list some others...
The movie and series are both available in North America on DVD and Blu-ray. The movie trilogy is a bit more streamlined and removes some of the more "super robot" tropes.
I think all of my favorites have already been posted so I'll post Sahelanthropus from MGSV. It was lagit scary the first time you see him change and chase you down.
Many of my favourites alreay posted (Zeta, Nu, Kshatriya, Sinanju...) so I'll post another of the obscure ones: the [EXAM] Efreet Custom.
