Proclaiming racist views in a video is not as different from proclaiming racist views in a march as you think it is.
People around here claimed she was racist, but of the few videos of her's I'd saw in the past I couldn't see it, and no examples could be provided. This is pretty bad though.
Her rhetoric emboldens the people that march with tiki torches. She's a person with a considerable platform who uses it to spew bullshit that fires up a very particular type of crowd, and she knows it.
She willingly and gleefully contributes to a culture of harassment and entitlement that caters exclusively to white people.
So yes.
She's not a Nazi, she's just the person who runs a newspaper in 1930s Germany that runs stories about how awful the Jews are.
I don't understand why some people are struggling with this.
Any person who immediately gets angry and posts vehement complaints, when a minority lands a role that was previously played by a white person, or a role at all, should be put into the same box. Bonus points if they throw in that it was done to please SJWs and all that shit.
There is no rationalizing to be done. Why are they up in arms that a minority got a job? Why is the race of the character a hill on which to wage a battle? Why do they always point to this as a growing and negative change in society? Why is their reality literally threatened?
Remember when the little black girl in Hunger Games got a job? Were you are any of your friends/family mad about it? In the box you go.
Racism really isn't a complex thing to understand. This is the same damn violent reaction we got in the Civil Rights movement. Remember when it was the end of society, because black kids were going to be allowed to go to white schools. Draw a direct line to matters like this, and judge the perpetrators accordingly.
