I'm moving to the UK in August and was considering my options for trading in my White Pro which I bought for AU$450 last year and it came with FIVE games.

Now I see this Red Pro is the equivalent of AU$670??!? No thanks

Looking through GAME and Amazon UK prices, I really hope they are notoriously bad in the UK because all of these prices are more than I pay here in Australia for every game :/

I wonder if they sold it in bundles before selling it standalone so people would begrudgingly buy the bundles and then never check to see if it was being sold standalone, thus letting game get rid of stock and possibly scamming people.

I remember going to GAME two months after the launch of the PS3 and they were only offering the PS3 with 2 launch titles and 2 blu-rays.

So apparently wal-mart is randomly cancelling pre-orders even though their site still shows it's available for pre-order. So who is the safest to pre-order a system through? Looks like my options are Best Buy or Gamestop.

If anyone is looking for a frame of reference on availability the GOW bundle sold out the week prior. This is going to be gone everywhere very quickly.

Anyone knows what's up with the PS4 Pro bundle in Europe? Amazon has the PS4 Slim Amazing Red up for preorder but not the Pro, which is the one I want. Game has nothing yet. Maybe the Pro bundle is Game exlusive?

(I'm from Spain but I've noticed France is in the same situation, for instance)

I have a pre-order but I really wish I liked this design more. It's so garish with the red and the spider logo. I would've loved it 20 years ago when I was 12 and a huge Spiderman fan but now I just want a good deal on a PS4 Pro and this seems like the best option unless I wait for Black Friday.

The 500 Million PS4 looks a lot classier but costs $100 more and comes with a camera I'm never going to use. I don't know...I think I'm still going to try and snag one.

This keeps popping in and out of stock on walmart and best buy so I would just keep refreshing those two if you want a shot at one. Honestly the announcement of the 500 Million PS4 really stole a lot of thunder for this Spider-man edition, at least for me personally. I see nobody really discussing this variant and instead everyone is clamoring to try and get the 500 Million one.

Also, for the record, I hate that the top portion is glossy and the rest is matte. Would have looked much better if all the red parts were matte and just the white spider was glossy. Not really sure what they were thinking.

On the other hand, the 500 Million system is all gloss, even the controller, which is pretty ridiculous. Shit's gonna scratch just from looking at it.

This is kinda the situation I am in. I am trying to be a realist and talk myself out of letting the hype get me with how limited these new consoles are but its difficult. Doesnt help that every store is out of even the basic og black pro which is only prolonging my decision. But yes the gloss being all over the 500 million is a real bummer.

I was just able to get one from best buy. I guess they must put stock back in as people cancel. I haven't been playing my og ps4 much but with spiderman and RDR2 I figured it was a good time to jump up on the pro.

I love the look and I'd rather have the free game than pay for the extra hardware i dont need on the 500 million edition.

Noise issues on the Pro isn't attributed to bad thermal paste? I'll still buy one as im rocking an OG PS4 and want to finally get on the upgraded one for Spiderman and other Pro enhanced games.

I've seen videos where they replace the thermal paste and it lowers the temp a little. Not sure of its affect on the fan though.

Have this preordered. Tempted to cancel because I just fixed my pc. Gaming is too expensive and can't justify in my head to buy a console just for Spider-Man

I really don't understand Sony strategy about those Pro Limited Edition in US.

In Europe we have no shortage of Pros and those consoles cost €490 when the regular Pro cost €400. I don't complain about that price: you have a Pro + €60 game + the paint job on the Pro.

But In Us there is a shortage of Pros since 2 months ago. This was helped by the Days Of plays deal on the Pro and before that the God of War LE edition at only $400.
But still, the Spiderman LE costs only $400. Why ? They'll sell every Spiderman LE they'll produce at that price before the launch week is over (they sold every GoW consoles before the actual launch). Why do they want to loose $60 on every consoles ?

I dropped by my local Target yesterday and spoke with a pretty knowledgeable employee. He said they aren't able to do any in-store pre-orders, but that if I was there at open on Friday morning, I had a 99.9% chance of getting one. He wouldn't say how many they were getting, only that they were slated to get some, and I was the first person to even ask about them. I'm sitting on $250 in Target gift card, or else I would've jumped on yesterday's GameStop online deal.

I've got one pre-ordered, but my launch Pro isn't loud at all (and never had been), so I might hold out until a Last of Us Pro.

Don't even have to show up early. Just wake up around 3 am eastern time the day it releases and order one online for in-store pickup when the store opens. They update inventory in the middle of the night.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinteresting. I'm in AZ, so that'd mean staying up to Midnight-ish. I'll give it a shot, and if it doesn't work, I'll roll out of bed to get there at 6:45 for the 7 am open. If that fails, there's another Target in the area that opens at 8 am, I can hit that one up too.
