Spider-Man Hype Check - Less than a week out

I wasn't really interested until this last batch of previews. I somehow missed that you can do stunts while web swinging, and you get xp for that.

I pre-orderd on HK store several months ago when the pre-order released, no errors...
Quite strange you got problems.
Did you order via web browser? Or did you do it from the console? Google'd a bit and saw that it apparently happens to people a lot, but it seems to work better when done via console...
I'm even excited for all the patching. I held off on Witcher 3 even though I preordered it... for months. I'm still not done with it because I have been waiting for texture packs and a better card to finish the DLC.
Huh. What about my network could have possibly caused it? Everything's working fine and I'm not having any connection problems. Maybe it's just luck... I'll try again later, though. Thanks!
A quick reminder to people considering preordering on PSN now you may want to wait until a day or two before launch to see if they'll have a 20% off code from their live.playstation site. I believe they've had one that could be used on every major 1st party game this year (sotc, god of war, detroit, mlb). It's not specifically for those games it's for any psn purchase it just usually expires after those games came out.
interested but not exactly hyped. definitely my next purchase though. I'm expecting an 80-85 metacritic average based on Insomniac's prior work.
I used to be hype for this, but since its recent gameplay video all my hype has gone to RDR2. It'll be back when release date is much closer.
I don't know. I want it to be good, but I got hyped for God of War when it launched and I didn't really like it. Still haven't finished it yet. I'll wait and see how Spider-man turns out and pick it up later after the hype settles down.
I'm going to get tomatoes thrown at me but i prefer the swining in Amazing Spiderman 2 more so than what ive seen in this game
never been a fan of a tiny spiderman swinging, the closer camera view in those games makes it feel more cinematic

I preordered yesterday and I cannot wait to play. It looks amazing and incredibly fun. Thanks to all folks at Insomniac.
Ended up switching my order to the ShopTo exclusive steelbook.

I think I'm cursed when it comes to this game.
I live in Spain, and I lost the one opportunity to preorder the CE at Game because of shitty handling of the matter on their behalf. Then I managed to preorder it through Fnac, and somehow they messed up my order and told me weeks later that it had to be cancelled, so no CE for me.
Then, I bought the standard edition through another retailer (already charged it to my card and everything) because of an exclusive steelbook and turns out it will not be in time for launch and can take up to September 13th for the game to arrive.
I'm also waiting to preorder the Amazing Red PS4 Pro but it's still nowhere to be seen and retailers are dead silent about it. Something tells me I'll end up losing that one, too.
All and all, hype is still through the roof. Been in love with the game since E3 2016 and it just kept getting better and better. I think if I can't get the PS4 Pro I'll just buy a digital copy (waiting for September 13th is just not an option) and make a sort of "custom CE" with the exclusive physical steelbook, the artbook from Amazon and the Hot Toys. Sorry for the long post, I just needed to get this out of my sistem!

Incredibly hyped! Can't wait to traverse through this awesome open world, fighting against bad people, managing my gang, robbing trains and taking care of my horse.

I'd say I'm hyped about Doom Eternal, Cyberpunk, DMC V and Sekiro, and interested in Spidey. Looks like a fun game to unwind with.

Game Collection are giving the steelbook too. They're charging a quid more for the game than ShopTo though.
