It's what happened on GAF and what happened to me IRL. Hell a lot of minorities only voted Hillary because we have no other choice come the election that has any shot at winning. We aren't going to vote Repub. and the 3rd parties have no shot. We're held hostage by Dems so long as they continue to push centrists who don't give a fuck about us.
I guess the overwhelming amount of leftist minorities are okay to toss under the bus. OK.

Except they voted Bernie in the primary when they could have chosen a centrist....again, it's appreciated that you people continue to want to erase us. There's a lot of structural reasons why Hillary did so well in minority communities but moreover, since that constituency is bound to Dems they will vote for Bernie and a centrist -> and since right now Bernie has a 73% approval rating with African-As hes clearly doing fine. Both those statements are true. Minorities would have voted for Bernie, that doesnt mean the party shouldn't take more time to understand the perspectives and policy goals of minorities while ensuring they are better represented in the party.

Again when what majorities are you talking about? Because everyone you mentioned voted for Clinton over Bernie as a majority. Not all of them obviously but the ones who didnt were the minority. Because thats how words work.

Not sure where you get the idea that I think of Trump as a centrist. I clearly said I rather we get a conservative over another centrist like Biden and further specified that Biden is the only potential candidate that I hold this view for. That is how much I hate Biden.

I mean sure, I just think it's funny whenever Sanders supporters use the same logic that certain mainstream Democrats do while railing against them for assuming they have the minority vote in the bag. It's what you might call "hypocritical."
I'm not sure if there was an easy silver bullet that would have filled Bernie's deficit with minorities but you can't say he really tried. After he got blown out in South Carolina he basically stopped campaigning in the South altogether, and forfeited a ton of black votes in the process because they're stuck in "red states" (but we'll tout our victories in lily white Oklahoma and West Virginia!).
So you prefer someone who will further fuck over minorities, women's rights, the environment, etc because you hate Biden more. Ok...

Going back to 2016 is useless except for learning from the mistakes that were made. Bernie will do better with minorities. I hope he does, because, as far as I'm concerned, his policies are the way forward.

Well I would vote for him regardless because I do tend to fall more towards his policies but I think hes massively tone deaf when it comes to issues out of economics. That being said these arguments relitigating the primaries are so pointless after the last 2 years
