This plays the game anywhere you want, the Vita doesn't.

That looks decent. I don't know what is the clock on that Win 2 but the base clock power is weaker than the Switch's handheld mode while the biggest boost clock is equal to the Switch's docked mode. Theoretically speaking. Also I should say that GPD Win 2 is around 850$ on Amazon if anyone is interesting in buying it.

Remote play works via the internet. And it does with playable performance, which this doesn't seem to achieve.
you know what you did. being platform ambiguous with the term handheld on a highly demanded title is sure to grab for eyes than "MHW on gpd win 2"
all you've ensured will happen is people being pissed off about the switch. your intentions are pretty clear and it's kind of shitty.
Technically, because of Denuvo, you still need an internet connection in order to being able to play it, so yeah...

Pretty close to 30fps most of the time, sometimes over that, and a few drops here and there to 25/26? Seems perfectly playable to me. More than many of the titles in the franchise lol. Much more than spotty 4G connection that will wildly differ depending on your coverage.
Not to mention that...you can remote play with this too, at a much higher fidelity,so...
Well, no. It will work offline after you run it once online. Then it will let you play offline for at least a few days before requiring reactivation.
I think it has some advantages, but it's also twice the cost I'm pretty sure.
i don't think they could do much better. it's a comfortable place for 3d camera controls while still fitting an entire keyboard on it. i think they made the right decision for the control layout
well yeah. it's also nearly 3x the price of a switch
Its power is theoretically equivalent to Switch's docked mode but it is 850$ while Switch is 300$.

Decent for lowest settings and low res. Though he needs to show 4 players big fight against big monster that's when fps can tank more he only showed minor stuff not much going on at screen
Considering that this game is clearly GPU heavy (according to digital foundry) and now with this video, I think it's clear that a switch version isn't the theoretical impossibility that people were making out...
4 Ultimate ran at 30+ FPS on the New 3DS and would sometimes even hit 45-50 in certain parts of the game. Generations on New 3DS was capped at 30 with very few drops, if ever (IIRC). Double Cross on Switch was capped at 30 and had zero drops whatsoever during all of Digital Foundry's testing, it's a smooth 30.
Random drops to 25 and below do not feel good. The title is vague just to platform bait, literally clickbait.
On Amazon it is 850$. Crowdfunding price was 649$ but you can't crowdfund it anymore. You can find it for 700$ on sites where they sell Chinese goods.
While this is pretty impressive if it's dropping into the 20's this early in the game where not much is really taxing the performance, I imagine it would drop to the low teens in some of the elder dragon fights when the effects start flying, still quite impressive nonetheless.
