Why would you need a judge to know a objective fact? That's not how objective facts work.
And more dirt should be digged it if exists. The people he stole from deserve to know.
How do objective facts work? I'm curious.

Your desperation to save face after prematurely and incorrectly calling me out on this topic, only equals your desperation for the last word. So I think that I'll just let you take it...
;)
The only person who can decide if the review is plagiarised is the owner of the site who hosts the review. Jason or anyone else deciding it's plagiarised is irrelevant.

Social Media marketing manager for a company like Walgreens?Sean eventually made it right. I am not sure what Filip will do here.
I'm gonna disagree with this. People are very forgiving. If he legit just admits he fucked up and wants to start fresh, people would give him a chance I guarantee it.Social Media marketing manager for a company like Walgreens?
His internet celebrity days are over, but he can still have a career. It just needs to be relevant to his experience, but not a position that involves writing or expressing his own opinions.
I'm waiting for someone to find out that he plagiarized his apology video.
Some poster in here already did. See post #22I'm waiting for someone to find out that he plagiarized his apology video.
Sorry but you don't get to decide what other people think is OK.
No one wants to see him hung, stop bringing up disingenuous hyperbolic strawmen into this conversation.
If you want to move on, go right ahead – no one cares. The rest of us find it reasonable to further call him out on his actions. Deal with it.

Instead we got
"I take full responsibility...but I didn't do it"
You do that, absolutely. You keep calling him out in the name of justice if it makes you feel better, I'm not telling people how they should feel.
I do think it's a bit like enjoying the public execution (figuratively! I thought I'd make it clear in case someone thought I'm talking literally) of someone whose crimes didn't even really affect you.
Boomstick (sorry, btw, phone tends to autocorrect that to broomstick) I could understand. Ign I could understand.
If you bought the game based solely on his review and his review said the complete opposite of what the general consensus is, I could still understand being mad at him.
As it is, I'll simply aknowledge he stole someone else's work and time and justice was served by the hands of those directly affected. He's a dead horse and beating him further won't make me feel more fulfilled, it would just waste more if my time.
But obviously you do you, I'm not asking or expecting you to care about what I chose to do.

I'm talking as a solo youtuber though. His mainstream media days are over. There's also the fact he's likely burned a bridge with Nintendo so even if he starts on his own again, no more free review copies. He's gotta pay out of his own pocket for those games.
Maybe, but he'll have to go silent for a while right?
Can't imagine it's easy not earning a salary with a child in San Francisco.
The youtuber Dreamcastguy mentioned that Filip told him that he was working like 80 hours a week. Assuming he spent very little of that time writing (for obvious reasons at this point), I wonder what portion of that was spent towards video editing/prepping for NVC/actual work versus playing games for his jobs. You know what's the worst part of this?
After all this time, this guy somehow managed to get away with all his plagiarised (stolen) reviews and still getting paid a full salary by the expense of other people's work, and still being hypocrite enough to post updates on Twitter about "his reviews" while all he was really doing was barely changing words, adding a few extra phrases and call it a day. This guy can seriously go eat shit.
The only thing I'm disappointed about, is that it took so long to find the truth about this piece of shit. I thank Boomstick for being the first to expose him, otherwise Filip would still be sitting all comfortable in his office right now, pretending nothing was happening and continue copying even more scripts under everyone's eyes.
I'm waiting for someone to find out that he plagiarized his apology video.
Every time someone finds new evidence Filip ends up like this.
Oh my god, you're acting like a complete asshole.Your desperation to save face after prematurely and incorrectly calling me out on this topic, only equals your desperation for the last word. So I think that I'll just let you take it...

Do you think people go out and read every single review for a game under the sun? The only reason why he got caught is because the reviewer himself noticed it. Nobody would have if he didn't.
I think it says a lot about how hard it is to attract people to San Francisco to live for what IGN is likely paying them.It says a lot about the state of video games journalism that this was the best IGN could do for an editorial position. A YouTuber who bought his views, can barely articulate himself enough to write competent video game reviews.
God, if it's ever revealed that the guy didn't even genuinely have a strong passion for videogames...that would just be the antithesis of the proverbial cherry-on-top for this whole saga. I would hope in an industry such as this/company such as IGN, only people who truly cared about the gaming industry would be there for the gaming relevant positions. The thing is i don't even believe he loves videogames, his goal was only to join IGN (he tried so hard as a destiny player in the past, and then he used the Switch) and to make money from the youtube channel, he copied other reviews only because he needed to make reviews quickly.
But don't get me wrong, he deserves all the backlash, i'm not even sure if he has ever produced original contents based on his ideas that stealing is good.
For this position, yes.I think it says a lot about how hard it is to attract people to San Francisco to live for what IGN is likely paying them.

It seems people are having more fun with this (sad) episode than actually playing some videogames. Guy is destroyed, why more gasoline to the fire?!

Doesn't deserve a click. Doesn't deserve attention. If there's doxxing, it's probably some other guy's details he's claiming as his own.
When he threw Jason Schreier under the bus, he threw all his own credibility along with it.
Fuck this guy.
The absolute madman is doubling down. He has zero understanding of what he did.
i still had a little pity left for him, but now it's gone.
terrible response video.
Dont read the youtube comments. But there are actually people defending this guy.
No sympathy. No admission of guilt. Just a bullshit apology in attempt to save his youtube career. Excuse me while I throw up.
Lol, he also liked a bunch of positive comments so they show up first under his video
Wow what a shithead... he really needs to grow up and take responsibility for his actions.
